On the way....
I don't have much knowledge on the XZL market, but I would think that you could pretty easily get at least $1000 for them if they are as good as you say, to the right person
What size are you considering running next? 215 85? 235 85?
I just bought some a couple weeks ago, quickly becoming one of my more comfortable pairs of shoes. Its amazing how fast the leather begins to mold to your feet.
Could you not buy something like the redwing 875 moc and take it to a cobbler and have them put on a different mid-sole and out-sole, that would give you pretty much exactly what you want, albeit at some cost and grief
I haven't found anything I particularly like either, some look better than others but I find that almost all make the front bumper look bulbous from the side. The ARB and Shrockwerks are probably the best looking in my opinion, and you can have the shrock made without the light hoops as well...
Bought these insoles from Danner, I really like them. I don't like too much arch support or too soft an insole so I am pretty happy with them

Had them on first dirt today, so they aren't hipster boots anymore. Very happy...
Sounds like fun! We went to the same area of Pennsylvania last September
Here is the trip report

Haha I would be those "some people" with heated garage access. My father in law works at a body shop so ill get some help there for the rust.
When is your first trip? I'm heading to pennsylvania for 4 days in about 4 weeks.
Nice to see another Canadian on here, not too far from me either. I am also about to begin a battle against rust....
Good luck, look forward to updates!
33s sound nice but you will be happier sticking with the 235 85s. Your gaining basically a half inch of ground clearance, I don't think its worth it.
