Just poking some fun.
As for the "how to make a reply in thread", you just successfully executed it twice. Instead of making a new thread, just add more info in a reply just like we're doing by having this short conversation.

Very strange way to post...
Honestly, the expo guys should get together and bid in groups. Instead of bidding eachother up, we all decide a set top price, designate one 'winner' and do this until everyone is happy in their rigs. We all get good deals, no price fluffing.
I was also the guy who won the 4x4 quigley in West...
By the way a similar rig just sold in Washington state for over $23k. It had the 6.0 but only 62k miles, and was one of the cleanest rigs I have seen from the gov sites. Prices are going crazy...
I just don't get you guys. If you don't want the price to spike up, maybe don't post these on a forum full of people looking for rigs like this. Just FYI, I am the high bidder right now, and I am already in for more than I want to be. But I want the project.
It takes a lot of time and patience...

For reference, I bought my 2003 Ford E-350 ambulance, 7.3l with...
I was very close to bidding on this one as well - have never seen a crew cab 4x4 much less one with a pass thru. Build a cab-over and you're competing with an Earthroamer for a fraction of the cost.
The 6.0 scared me away. Very frustrating because this model year could have just as easily...
Thanks, it's a great rig. I planned to keep the truck, but would consider letting the whole build go to someone who will enjoy the complete package. I would consider offers around the $20k mark.
More details on the truck:
190k miles, lots of life left, runs excellent. Transmission was fully...
I do believe the Flippac shell will mount to a 2nd gen short bed no problems. I see guys running that combination.
The rear bed setup should also fit within the footprint of the 2nd gen bed, may require slight adjustment.

I consider the Flippac to be one of the best options for a go-anywhere expedition setup- lightweight, very comfortable, super convenient for multiple reasons. I have really enjoyed this camper, but need funds for a current ambulance camper project...
