Haha, I just dropped Montenegro off at the auto shop and that's what the service guy called my battle scars, I didn't know you AZ guys had a term for it. But hey I'm getting brand new front brake callipers buy Thursday! Cutting it close!

I got my rig back too, got some new shoes! But the 0mm offset ripped some metal right off my break caliper... So I'm really time crunching here. I almost thought I was going to have to cancel the trip.. we'll see what the mechanic says tomorrow...:/

Alright, so with trial by fire, I found out that 0 mm offset wheels do not work. I found out by ordering five 17x8 steel wheels off ebay and they sent me a -12offset. I sent those back and had the shop order me some soft 8 17x8 steel wheels with 0mm offset. At first, I thought they would...
I was hoping you could enlighten me ohh wise toasty! I'll know tomorrow the wheels should be coming in
And Kev my stock wheels are 17s

eBay sent me the wrong wheels -12 offset..grrr, so I hope my wheels come on Monday and I still have to get an extra carbon fiber rear drive shaft from MST recycle in Sacramento.. then I think I'll be ready..

What a beauty! Welcome to the forum! Gosh the memories of getting my Monte's still stick with me. How many miles did it have?

Thanks! And no, the skids and the arms were fabricated, he told me used the mounts from what I remember..I just don't believe the original arms will hold sliders in place..

I don't really know the laws or really care for them lol, I've done it before..I was just asking since I heard there were a lot of trees on this road..

Here's my setup, the fabricator used the original mounts, it did push up some of the paneling but I'm not complaining. Those sliders got me through the Rubicon and Fordyce. I hope that helps!
