For long-distance driving, I think the 4Runner is more comfortable (for me) than the Tacoma. I looked at Tacoma's at one point and really didn't like the seat design. I'd suggest you go to a dealership and take them both for a test drive at some point.

Overland Vehicle Systems 270. It's a clone of the Darche. Has better coverage over the rear than the 23Zero option (IMO). I absolutely love it. I set it up without poles all the time and only stick the poles down (which literally only take 10 seconds) if I'm somewhere windy.

I have the same fridge but used the Dometic slide to mount it in the back of my truck. I got the rails they supply and then just drilled some holes in the slide to allow me to bolt the slide to the rails using T-nuts. It does block the ammo can on that side but I never really use it. I also did...

Still no response from @Dometic ... The problem I see with this is that they're acting like slapping a sticker on your fridge that you paid several hundreds of dollars for somehow makes this right. Nevermind the fact that you paid for functionality that you're not getting ...

I don't know anything about Jeeps but I ran an RTT for quite a while (CVT Rainier Summit) on the stock roof rails with a set of Thule Aeroblades on my old 4Runner. I took that thing all over creation. I've never understood the reasoning behind having some aftermarket rack to just cover it up...

Looks nice but other than the price, I would also add to the list of cons being the fact that he says there is a 4 month lead time associated with these orders and that it's now a "side business" for him ... Doesn't give me a great feeling when it comes to support for the product.

The Baroud is pretty nice but I seriously love my OVS awing and it's a lot cheaper than the Baroud or RLD options.
