If your jack is a 48 and you remove the foot, it will fit under your rear seat. Keeps you from rust and grime in the pins.

I still have my 48". It turns 30 years old this summer. I have not had occasion to buy a 60. Come to think of it, I have not had occasion to use my Hi-Lift in three years. At this rate I will never wear out the 48 and need to find a different way to justify a 60.

I hadn't thought of that angle. I'll consider doing that but knowing me I would end up keeping it. I have always admired NX250s.

There's an NX250 locally for $500. It needs some work (and I don't need another project). I have been kicking around the idea of picking it up. Liquid cooled Honda, easy to handle, light weight. Nice little commuter/exploration ride.

Cool idea. Might be hard to execute on a light truck though. I would be fearful of the steering not having travel to compensate for cab motion. A whole subframe would be needed isolate the bagged cab from the frame. You would also need to go to an electric fan. Sounds ambitious but...

Both sets arrived yesterday in great condition. I was super to happy to find that they are the German built lamps with the covers I prefer. I only have plans to mount one set for now. At this price I didn't mind shleving a pair for a later project.
