you have got, most likely, an interference in a rotating assy. likely metal, and possibly inside a pump.
does temps outside change this? when is it present on repeat basis?
tthe mic made it sound to my ears like an exhaust leak pissing out past a metal heat shield. causing it to vibrate...
the install is somehow jiggered.
if installed exactly as instructed, and you are getting tilt, the only conclusion is that ome is at fault. if this is common across makes and models, then ome is selling an inferior product. or their instructions are poorly written.
shimming is never never an...
ive got a 94 in the green color; looks to be similar to yours. or is that a silver?
my sheetmetal is perfect on this 94

the property thing..... looking for land, let us all make a group buy, crowd source it, and turn part of it into a national montero junkyard/clubhouse/museum/ race center/ campground/ expedition refuge in northern az. not too far from anywhere that

46's seem to be the ticket .
the 5100 5150 and somewhere i read about an elusive 4700 shock.
im down to the bilstein or the koni using koni's trooper rear shock as koni dont make one for the gen 1
thank you for this
its what i was looking for
never much cared for the adapters when not necessary, just some other threaded joint that can fail
ome shocks are made by Monroe under ARB spec and inspection.
When i was involved with the now-defunct CAGE off road program, got our shocks from only 2 manufacturers stateside:monroe, and Gabriel.
Everyone, meaning even the big names, outside the boutique shock companies( renntech et al) bought from these two makers.
Why? because who has 250 million to...
heavens not intending to denigrate your upgrades, my apologies.
There do exist numerous references to the mid-grade shocks not lasting or not being supported by manufacturer. just sayin' . enough comments to make me wonder either what the consumer was doing to destroy the shock, or if the co...
ome got panned on a number of forums , in comparison to the top tier stuff; bilstein , koni, tough dog; seems they do well if you are using their springs also. not so well on factory springs.
in r and d most of the shocks are valved using the advertised spring rate published by the manufacturer...
im funnin' you on the color.
if your green is silicate and borate free the color is unimportant. what is important is the formulation for japan spec.
my napa asian is one color ( cant remember) eneos is green
explain to me the advantages of OME pls, over bilstein or koni or kyb. lotsa drivers use them on al the different pages. i personally have no knowledge or experience with them nor does anyone i know.

the land rover guys sure like them ( but they would ,if its expensive right)?

i do not want the air locker . im very content with my lsd. i want only to put the disc brakes from a 94 onto the 91 axle housing. it seems do-able and have been looking the net for others who have done this successfully. it appears to be a direct bolt on.
thx for asking
k thx . 5100 hmmmm.
i saw the 4600,familiar with them an improvement over factory, smoother than kyb, but maybe not too much? are they worth the additional investment.
i look into the 51
im scratching at it a little each day. not in a great hurry. but city cops like to pick on my shop. so it cant sit there forever.id like it gone by dec.1 or so.
