Its been almost exactly two years since I picked up the Xterra, in that time I have put on 52,000 km. I actually sit at 199 200 km on the truck as I type this, which means that I am about to roll over 120,000 miles. I hope to get many more years out of it.
The tires I put on almost since day...
Nothing wrong with being picky, its going to have to sit on the front of your truck for a long time. If you settled with the ARB you would see it everytime you got in and it would piss you off.
I like the shrock stuff as well, you will just have to wait for it, hopefully not too long!
Quite a few tires, BFG AT among them come in 255 70 R16.

I found a pair at a junk yard for 10$ each, don't know if they work but fo that price its worth a shot.
They also had my exact alloy wheel in good shape, 25$ so I grabbed one. I will now have...
Basically comes down to whether you want a truck or an SUV.
Mechanically easentially identical, if you think the open bed will benefit then go frontier, or if you think you would like an enclosed vehicle I'd go Xterra.
Frontier with a long bed and topper will net you more storage, and I think...
