And yet you always have SO MUCH to say. You've said your piece, made your "point" so just exit the damn chat and stop threadcrapping. You're insufferable dude.
Not that I recommend it or advising it but it depends on the account. For example if it's a Roth IRA you can take out your contribution amount at any time without penalty or taxation but if you dip into the gains then you will be subject to tax and penalty.
Just curious and you don't have to answer if it's not PC (not trying to stir up anything here) but what happened when you talked to OAT that was the final nail in the coffin?
ATRAC is fine. I'd trust Toyota engineers over some bloke on mud that claims ATRAC was at fault. What evidence do they have, other than coincidence, that ATRAC was the culprit? Correlation is not causation.
I think the options are more limited at launch. From what I understand the 2.7L and access cab options will be available later. Not sure when on that exactly (perhaps a mid-late 2024 or maybe they push that to 2025) but doesn't seem like they are rolling out with those options for the initial...
From what I understood the cab is the same as last gen (?). I think they made some exterior bits a bit wider like fenders, suspension track to gain extra width but the interior cab is the same dimension. I may be totally wrong though.
Ignik started selling their cases separately as well. So a good option for those who are buying the tank separately and want a nice carrying case. I have the Ignik kit and can agree that the case is what really makes it nice.
If you look hard enough there's a new company that is selling the same camper. I'm not sure where the original Earthcruiser GZLs were made but I believe these are all now a made in PRC alibaba special. I think there will still be an importer for these out there when you're ready to buy.
I like the new Ranger and think it will be a solid mid-size truck. I am somewhat let down by it though. I was hoping for a Crew Cab with a 6' box option. With Chevy/GM also nixing a 6' box option that leaves the Tacoma as the only truck with a 6' box. Ford is also using the same size cab so...
That and you can easily get $5k off the price of an on-lot trailer. The big box RV dealers have more wiggle room when it comes to discounts. With how RV sales have slowed there's definitely an incentive for them to discount trailers they have on inventory.
No reason to consider them. They look like a copy cat company that made a camper that looks very similar to a Superpacific. Says designed in Canada but no mention of where they're made. So I'm assuming they're imported from China from a Alibaba company. The price is also essentially the same...
So awesome to see them succeed and cut down lead times. I love their design and build. Honestly the lead times were the biggest deterrent as to why I didn't go with them and went in a different direction. If I had known this about 6 months ago I likely would have picked the Hiatus. Oh well...
I have the Ignik Firecan. There are a lot of other ammo can fire pits and variations of it. I like the Ignik for a few reasons. 1) I got it for $99 at REI when they had a 50% off sale. 2) the quick disconnect propane hose connection 3) cutouts on the side of the can which help warm your feet...
I have the Scepter MWC, Front Runner style water cans, and Dometic 11L. I primarily use the Dometic 11L now and have 2 of them. I got the cans and faucet thing on sale at OE-PNW. I prefer the Dometic for a few reasons. The spout is easy to open, no need for a spout wrench. The two openings...
