I think front and rear bumper upgraded plus luggage rack, not sure if winch is standard.
These are very cool and one even raced some across Alaska race and while it never won they did win Sportsmanship award for stopping to help a couple people, I believe the Baja always finished as well. All...
I think you answered your question.
I have the Pentastar in a Grand Cherokee. I only got it because a Hemi would have to have been ordered and I could not wait. While I would have loved the Hemi, I do not tow and Pentastar is plenty.
After 280k miles Mopar is rebuilding blown motor under...
I have a 2001 Concourse while it is not 4WD, it is lifted with several suspension upgrades and mods for off-road travel.
This rig looks really nice, however, it is the Premier model. not the Concourse. The Premier had the square coach windows and lesser upgrades. Not a big deal but point of...
I do not know about Lance, but Chinooks really are not built like other "generic truck camper or trailers" that I have been in. Not sure how much weight you think will cause the issue, but I am sure at some point it will, but my cabinets are stuffed pretty good.
Mine is 2WD, and lifted with...
I have over 500,000 miles spread between a 2004 and a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and have exclusively used the Terra Gapplers G2 since gettin rid of the crappy stock tires shortly after purchasing each.
Like you I love the Nitto's, have zero reason to try anything else, they are great in all...
I wonder how many people here are like me, I do not consider myself an Overlander at all, but instead use this site and the Overland methods to set up my Chinook RV for remote 4 season overnight boonedocking fishing trips away from the masses. Other people may have different uses not strictly...
I have been looking at Tigers for quite a while, visited SC plant twice, once with check in hand. As far as this rig I think price is really good if as presented. It's older so it may need updating but at that price you could upgrade areas and still be in at good price.
On east coast the...
Again off-topic but great quote.....I think alot of us are looking for Mongolia closer to home so we escape crowds and flee to mountains fly fishing, hiking or Overlanding off the beaten path.
On topic, interior build doesn't seem to justify 1/2 million, but maybe base rig is almost that amount.
I have the HWH hydraulic leveling system which works fine, but in reality I only used once or twice to test it. 99.9% of time I can get rig level "good-enough" by just parking smartly, however I really never stay two nights at same spot and only sleep in rig as I am fishing from early to late.
Update, in May received leaf springs from Atlas. They were quite backlogged (Oct ordered) on getting steel due to supply chain issues but they were always available for updates and great to work with. The 5" above stock and requested weight distribution worked perfect. With rig dry the rear was...
Very nice collection, difference navigation accuracy and mechanical watches is insane......do you know if the 10 seconds assumes continuous use with watch winder when not being worn?
