Great way to test the machine! I'm doing a similar 3-4weeks trip on Vancouver Island, awesome! I also converted from a12v to a bar fridge, been using it for 6 months and not going back!!! The house/bar fridge have a more efficient gas so at the end they are as if not more efficient than a 12v...

Top windows are the way to go! No one can see inside but for you they'll be at eye level :) Windows aren't as stealth but they bring life inside a dark shell, love all of mines! Sent from my SM-G973W using Tapatalk

Goldstream was awesome!!! Will definitely be coming back to further explore, such an amazing place. Got lucky with traffic as I was heading north :) Been on the island for a week, living the life! Just one picture from a log in Goldstream, not even edited, pretty cool! [emoji1] Sent from my...

Hi Eric Glad you love the SCT, from what I read it's the best for Ford vehicles. With the 6.0 I found it a bit more complicated finding a decent chip or tuner for a van. I went with 5 Stars tuner and got their Economy tune (30hp?), their 50hp tow and their 100hp performance. I mostly use the...

Now we're talking, that's quite the progress! Not planning any side windows? I did whitewash (stain) all my cedar walls inside and love it, it helps a lot with not feeling like a cave! But so do my windows... And indeed, great grinding skills, hahaha! Hope your folks get better and you get a...

If it gets powdercoated your got that right, ain't going back! lol I'm not rushing on this project, not really a priority at this point but black it will be! I'll finish it in between other projects. Talking about other projects I opted to do my poptop in aluminum. Goal would be to have it done...

You do have a vote, hahaha! I'm leaning towards black as well, would also be easier for powdercoating...

Next on the project list, cab roof rack. I kept it pretty simple, and a bit overkilled. Now I need to pre-drill the mounting holes, as well as those for the lights and the storage box before sending it over to get powder-coated. And gotta decide if I paint it black or the same green as the...

That's awesome Ian! Doesn't even look like you got any nasty surprises along the way :) I kind of like the look of the raw aluminum strip, lol. Enjoy the new found height [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G973W using Tapatalk

All done, tested on some ugly roads and the extra weights actually smoothed out the front end suspension. Once I add my old M12000 I bet it will ride even better (my coils were pretty stiff to start with). Overall, really happy!

Project: modifying F350 front bumper for van

All done and satisfied with results. (Only did 3yrs in military so I still dig the look, lol) We modified the original mounts and welded two 4x4 (3/16") 8" long tubing with new mounting plates. Still need to mount my old M12000 and wire the 4 Rigid lights that came free with the bumper :)...

Project: modifying F350 front bumper for van

I'll save you a lot of headaches and money... you don't need it, lol Most of us don't need them but they sure look good. I often drive in deer country, had a few close calls over the years and I had a screaming deal on this one so I went ahead. But I won't deny it, probably more for the look...

Project: modifying F350 front bumper for van

I'm not sure. Looks feasible but at least that bushbar is light enough that you could easily hold it against your van and see if the general fit can work. Sent from my SM-G973W using Tapatalk

Project: modifying F350 front bumper for van

My initial goal was to modify the bushbar so it could tilt forward to double as a table, firewood or game rack or step platform for engine work (it's a 6.0 afterall, lol) . It would also solve the headlight issue :) Sent from my SM-G973W using Tapatalk

Project: modifying F350 front bumper for van

That is a very valid point! I previously replaced the Hi/Low bulbs with LED's (from superbrightled.com) which hopefully will last as advertised as the bushbar is indeed in the way. Guess I should do the turn indicators ones too! But if I get unlucky in the light department I'll just build a...
