I had 225 40 R 18s on my GTI, in the winter i went to 205 55 R 16, I could absolutely feel a difference in sidewall flex, especially getting on the highway going around on ramps
I have no issue with the same. I think a lot of tires feel "squirmy" when new. Once you get them worn in you will be okay.
Don't forget you have a pretty deep tread, so the tread blocks will tend to move around a little more than other ATs and a lot more than your old tires.
They come with a full harness. It has 2 wires to the battery, then it runs to 3 pole switch and then to each light. No relay. They are supposed to be plug and play so I assuming they aren't too worried about a relay. There is also an inline fuse.
I dont mind doing it, I just want to do it once and do it right.
thanks....now I have three options instead of two, you guys were supposed to help me narrow it down
I dont have much experience with the Titan, but I do like its looks and being different. I am interested to see what the next generation will look like.
I would probably do the same, I could handle a nice pro4x Frontier, I don't need the size or capability of the full size trucks, and the...
haha its okay, everyone has their preferences and these days its pretty hard to choose wrong.
All my work vehicles are Chevys (2500 HD trucks and vans and a suburban as well). My father in law is a die hard ford guy. If I were to buy a new full size truck, It would be a Titan anyways I think!
Here are a few more pictures from Monday, and a better picture of the skids, should give you more of an idea how they mount up under the truck.
I also bought those LED lights yesterday. THey are definitely rigid duallys, the pig tail for the connector has rigid on it and the casing is...
Awesome Ram, especially love the 17s and the 285 75R17 tires, 34s right?
My dad has a 2007 Sport, Red, 4x4. Still has the factory 20s with michelin LTX tires. Barely sees anything beyond a well graded dirt road though.
My grandfather was a farmer, and the little town near him had a Dodge...
haha no, I replaced most of the exhaust from the cats back already with a walker unit. I got it through the parts supplier my father in law uses (and they had it in stock) so it was dirt cheap. But it turns out that on the drive side there is an extra piece that I didnt realize was there when...
Ill try and clean them up this weekend put a little paint on. There is no rush as I won't be needing them in the next couple of months anyways.
I have to replace a small section of my exhaust that I missed before. On the drivers side its about 18" long. The connection is leaking. I want to...
How do you ? Haha
It wouldn't have been the end of the world, I wasn't that far in the middle of nowhere and there was a farmer a mile back down the road with a tractor it just would have sucked. Wasntmentally or physically prepared for that
It sounds like love at first site!
I agree about the width, look how much skinner the Xterra is compared to the full sizers, they are at least a full foot wider. And the front overhangs on the new trucks tend to be terrible. Huge plastic bumper covers waiting to be ripped off. Nice and shiny...
