Our first trip to Moab from my 9yo's perspective

especially E-rated 235 85 R16s on a 4000 lb truck, mine are the same on my Xterra. Unless I get below 20psi or so I don't see much bulge on level ground

Our first trip to Moab from my 9yo's perspective

Truck is looking great, love how you have it setup, especially loving the tires. How were on this trip? It was your first real test with them no? Great idea presenting this through the eyes of your daughter. Kids always see things in a different light and brings a different perspective to the...

    More Bald Eagle State Forest

awesome! nice to relive some of the memories and views in a new light with most of the lights down. Longwell Draft Road was just as you said, long. Never really gets any harder but as you said you can really only go at a few miles an hour. Took us an hour and a half to complete it. We used...

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

Fun History Fact: Etymology of "Tank" Originally designed and invented by the British during the First World War as a trench warfare tactic. It was a top secret project and even those building the prototypes didn't know its true purpose. They were told that it was to be a tracked water...

    billys X

They do look good. They look like factory spare wheel for any first gen with alloys. If you go to a wrecker yard you might be able to find some still under some the trucks.

I remember the days when I was in university during mid-terms and finals when you would look for any excuse, any distraction from studying. Thank god I didn't know about this site then! Thanks for the compliments! Good luck!

    Silvers Xterra Build Thread

Looks like a great trip to colorado. I have it written in pencil for 2015. How many miles on your X again? I'm bordering 120 000 (200 000 km) and wondering when I will need to do the same with CV joints/ball joints etc

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

when I flick the high beams its almost worse than the regular head lights. I was just thinking about running normal headlights and when I need extra light putting the duallys on with the fog switch. I am also the same, Id rather smash bang crash or turn something than wire it

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

couple quick questions, starting to get serious about the fog light issue now that winter (darkness) is coming. What is the connector type that I need to make this work with the stock fog switch? I would like to wire the new lights to the right connector to plug right into the factory...

    DMSKI's 2000 Xterra slow build

I've never had to do something on a vehicle that was half as frustrating as the number 6 sparkplug. Obviously whoever designed the engine wasn't going to have to be the guy changing it out! I used just about every extension and swivel joint I had available. I also took the entire hood off the...

The Old Wood Hauler: 1983 Toyota 4WD Build/Restoration

Looks great! Don't get too caught up about lightbar or not. Its an easy on/off mod and if you need the light I would keep it. My Dad has a 1983 toyota supra celica that is in mint condition. He has also owned since new. It would be a great companion for this! As much as everyone fawns over...

    97 pathfinder ?'s

Timing belt is important. They are due at 100 000 miles and it is fairly important for these engines as they are interference. If its not done it might cost $1000 for a shop to do it and the water pump/thermostat etc

    97 pathfinder ?'s

My brother has a 2000 XJ with the 4.0 and I have an Xterra with the 3.3. Definately a noticeable power difference but I haven't had any issues towing with mine. Gets slow and bad on gas is all. The R50 guys will chime in soon. Can't go wrong with them, great trucks
