Welcome Evgenie. Nice rig. Is Jeep well represented in Russia? Is it easy to get spares?

    I need to know...

I've decked more than a few 8.2 Detroit blocks! Looks like nobody is happy with factory power, I went Cummins/Fuller FSO/Rockwell. There are some real simiarities in what I'm doing and what that truck is, I don't think I'll need the wild departure angle but can see the intent. I have mine pretty...

Travel vs. Truck - Nathan's Grand ExPoordition

    Absolutely, it's been a while since I've read a 14 page post...twice. Good job.

    I need to know...

I found a random pic of a truck and would like to know more about it. I'm building pretty much the same thing. Any ideas who this is?

    Sandwich panel body

If you made something available you might standardize a platform for rigs to be built on. It's generally not viable to build something specific for everybody, the lack of volume makes feasible production runs difficult and lengthly and tend to lack in profit. If I could buy a box for my 700 I...

    Bigfoot is Back!

I believe the recession was long and hard enough to keep things in check for a while even though human's tend to be a little too forgetful about hardships endured. Glad to see them back.

    The Polar Bear

Check inside the distributor cap on those trucks. There were a pile of them that had the oil control gooves cut in the wrong direction on the distributor shaft, they would let oil up into the cap and it would turn into a blue/green fuzzy mess, you can't miss it, if so get a new distributor. Make...

New Guy here with a fullsize..

I have a 2004 CC long box diesel, Fabtech 4" lift, 35x12.50-17 M/T ATZ's, Pro Comp MX-6 adjustable shocks, Bushwackers, Predator tune, 4" MBRP exhaust, AFE intake, Trail Ready bumpers front and rear, custom headache rack box rail combo. Absolutely love the truck, pulls hard and easy on the...

    The Polar Bear

You can remove the tailgate and sliding window and replace them with barn doors, all the mounting holes are there, just find a complete donor at the wreckers and swap parts.

    33 x 10.50 safety...???

1997 TJ, 3.5" Rubicon Express lift, 33x10.50-15 BFG's, I live near the mountains which is where we mostly wheel, but also hit Moab every 2 years. It works great, drives loose gravel just fine, takes on some decent trails, due to driver ability it beats the pants off a lot of other set ups and...

Air pressure in lieu of water pump?

You would have to use a pressure tank with a diaphram to prevent aeration.

    Re-gear and 4.0L 42RLE

I put 4.10's in my TJ with 33's with great results. I think a good gear for the tire size would be 4.56's if you are a little heavier. 5.38 or 5.13 might be a bit low, you will have a very high pinion speed which will have an affect on lifespan as well as a very small amount of gear contact area...

    Defender 110 with Mattracks

We have installed and used several sets, the tracks are designed and manufactured for the application, way heavier than a snowmobile track. Speed is limited due to heat build up, a reason you can travel faster in the snow. We have used them in muskeg and they work great, the only downfall about...

    Aeon Rubber

I'll grab you a part number and try to locate a set at a warehouse near you on Monday. You will get them cheaper and faster that way. Cheers, Mark.
