They're pretty trailers....with very pretty price tags :Wow1:.
The picture below is what inspired me to "roll my own" when I saw the price tag. The second picture is what prompted me to attach my Technitop with shower enclosure so that it opens to the rear of my truck and creates a protected...

Hey KC,
Thanks for all your time and energy at the Exposition. You and Tom are first class :victory: .
So, do you think the Aluminess box would present any structural issues? Janet and I would only use it for seasonal clothes so it wouldn't have much weight in it.
If you dig around on the internet, you'll likely find the comparable options that I found. Not much help, I know - but there are heavy duty* camp stoves out there other than the Partner.
*meaning heavier duty than the ol' Coleman, etc stoves
I don't think that's a crazy solution at all. The wall tent community will have some slick options for you. The only drawback will be carrying wood. If you have a trailer, no problem. Otherwise you might tire of pulling wood in and out of the truck bed every time you stop and pop.
Thx, seeds.
I forgot to mention...the cargo box on the roof rack will simply be seasonal clothing which means the weight on top of the cargo rack will be marginal.
