Switching my life to "not Jeans". Can I get some recomendations for good NON JEANS

I have a workman's kilt that I purchased when I lived in Seattle area (Kitsapp) years ago. Wear it in summer when it gets quite warm in Denver. Still wear jeans though, flannel lined in winter. Have not found warm pants to compare.

    roof rack abilities

When loading my roof rack I put easy stuff up there. Wouldn't put any more weight on it than my roof would hold, max 230 pounds. at most two petrol cans (90), an OZ tent (45), propane tank (25), two fold up chairs (15) and maybe some clothes in a small medical chest (40).

Where are all my MilSurp equipment fans at?

When on the carrier with an air group one of the guys had a sewing machine and would make a few bucks sewing on name tags and tailoring uniforms. He was no Betsy Ross but did a good job and we were glad to have him around.

LR3 owners sound off, which tires?

gabrielef, I do like your style. Rarely do I ask people I don't know what to get. Kind of like asking a barber if you need a haircut. I just get what I like, wether it is roof racks, sleeping bags or the vehicle I drive and the tires I put under it. Although I did ask my friend about the...

LR3 owners sound off, which tires?

Cheap tires will leave you stranded, just spend the money for good ones. I am surprised that LR owners want to get cheap tires and with all the discussion on this site that people are still having problems deciding on a tire.

Where are all my MilSurp equipment fans at?

Question though... when you wear out a pair of BDU pants - do you cut the pockets off to use as storage? Correus, when I wear out my BDU pants, which is not often, I cut them up and sew them into equipment bags, using the cloth rather than throwing them away, paracord for the drawstrings. I...

    Airstream b 190 4 x 4

After all this. There are instances when the 'If the ad is still up' do not rely on the seller to keep the post current and simply 'forget' to remove it when the item is sold. So folks have to ask. It has happen to me a few times.

Aluminum side release buckles from strap works?

I have only used the nylon (?) from this company, in various sizes. Since the application for use was only on things that are either inside my vehicle or for something that does not stay outside they have never been an issue. There were plastic ones on my RTT and never gave me problems (sold...
