Sorry Andrewh, that is a good question that I dont have an answer for.... You could try it on a section of your tent that does not see much action and see if it works.... I have used it on tents (as stated) and on the actual cover for the tent... it held up for over two years with no issues...

I have used Seam Sealer "seam-grip" and "sil-net" on my 4 season tents.. they work great... for as mall whole like that I dont think a patch would be needed....

I used this mesh with my coleman lamp.. It was alright.. a little less light but better than having a broken piece of glass and no light. I used it heavily for 3 years until it got burn on the sides... so I gave up and bought an LED lamp..... Much better in all aspects...
