Looking that the empty/wasted space on top...... you could totally put a nice set of drawers on the bottom.... a little rearrange of gear and you'll be good to go.....
I went without drawers for about 10years... and going on trips for more than 2-3 weeks at a time, having to set up almost every night got old fast.
I fabbed my own drawers.. yes they are heavy and not cheap but the beauty of pulling a 42" drawer and have the kitchen and dry food ready at hand...
Trial and error...
We were able to leave two down sleeping bags in there or a down comforter.... but that was about it... this was with an eezy-awn 1800.
After 4 years of use one of the bolts snapped off as I was closing it...
I dont think it was due to the leaving things in it but more about...
NL here too but the 90L......alum......
I dont think the SS is worth the extra $$, that's why I got the jacket/cover for it.... its on 100% of the time....
Have you looked at the shadyboy awnings...?
Closed they are 4" long but once deployed they are 10' x 6'.
I think the same principal could be applied here...
any chance you can part pics of how the drawers slide on the rollers...
do the drawers have metal channels where the slides roll on?
thanks for posting great thread..
Nothing to compare it to, but ...........
I have a Eezi-Awn and it has been a great tent... the only thing that I have an issue with is the vinyl cover.
When I bought it I was never told that it would only last 2-3 years......very true !!
Ours is only 3 years old and the vinyl cover will have...
Other than it being cosmetic.. I would try to remove as much of the tree sap and leave the rest in place....you might make more damage trying to take it out.....
Think of tree sap as fugly protection....
