I have a similar version of that that I use for shower. Just fill (1/2 way) and put on the stove to heat water but I really had not thought to drink from it. I suppose if while showering some gets in my mouth it will be OK but not to use as a drinking fountain.
Your choice.
I use a 2 1/2 gallon...
I bought a plug in food heater to use when I travel. I put in a bit of rice, canned chicken or some CBH and rice. Heats up while I drive and meal is ready when I stop, especially when weather is cold or rainy and I would rather not be out side over a camp stove...
Great video, especially watching you discover some of the things you are going to have to do in the future to make it work for you. Thanks for posting.
From the pictures he posted it looks like the stop signal will be visible, especially at night.
I have a tire carried on my bumper and I also wonder if my right turn signal is visible to those behind me as a driver back there is on the left side of the tire and may not see my right signal all...
So, 400 pounds. That was just a guess. thanks for confirmation. empty water cans, why carry empty water cans? Still a lot of weight but it's your vehicle and if you trust it, go for it. I would not hang that much weight off a hitch mount.
I did think about what I was doing when I began to modify my LR3. The rear seats I removed were the same weight as the drawers I installed so that was a balance in my mind. The tire I removed from the under carriage and replaced with a system I designed to hold two Nato cans of petrol equaled...
I have 18s on my LR3 with no issues, I don't see what all the fuss is. I have renewed the rotors and pads with OEM parts and there is no downsizing involved. I traded out the stock 19s for the Lucky8 steel wheels that are not only better than alloy rims but less expensive as well. There are a...
don't really know much about the stock already on the LR much but a friend that has one constantly complained about the fasteners that hold it together (some sort of pop rivet things) loosened up and made the thing rattle all the time. I have the FR full length rack and have not noticed any...
Even if the bracket holes do not correspond to the rack spacing it can be done. I put Baja Rack items on my Front Runner rack by simply drilling holes in the base to properly space the item. A little paint and you're done.
Looks good in the vid. 27 kilos is 60 pounds. a bit heavy really to hang off the side of my roof rack. No explanation in the vid of mounting it. Needs more research.
since the Wolf packs aren't water/dust proof adding a few footman loops won't hurt them and will give you a place to hold your strap and help to secure them to the roof. I get my loop at ACE hardware.
also available from our good friend Amazon...
Would not adding a panel/piece to the inside to support the bolts relieve the stress on the door a bit. I did that to my pinz but I really do not know the construction of the G rear door.
Perhaps, but I can carry extra gas but not extra electricity. I have been to the middle of nowhere and I got back on petrol, one of the few.
Also it is not a motor it is an engine, look up the difference.
My issue isn't the electric vehicle itself but getting it charged in the middle of nowhere when there is no charging station, it then becomes a 5000 pound paperweight.
