B&H, KEH and Adorama are the primary sources for my camera addiction. I'm lusting after a Canon 1Dx to take advantage of the advancements in ISO levels, battery technology and focusing over my 1DsMKII - which is still a great camera.
I've had some good luck with local craigslist but the main...
Here's a morning shot of the Land Rover village from last year

Sorry to see you get rid of your LR3 and the Conqueror - it's a great truck. Airstreams are cool - did you get the 25 or 27 foot model?
My sister had a 27 0r 28 foot Airstream - she says she wishes they'd had a 25 foot size since once you get over 25 feet they get a bit more hard to maneuver.
Press new bushings in the frame as well -to remove the old bushings I usually use a 1" hole saw coming in from each side to remove what's left of the rubber and carefully split the outer steel sleeve with a hacksaw then drive it out.
Get a 12" length of 5/8 acme threaded rod and some acme nuts...
I dropped the price to $7900 and included a 50mm trailer ball - I went ahead and ordered a new ball so the next owner wouldn't have to look for one.
Camping season is starting - but that doesn't mean you have to sleep on the ground!
Eriba Puck Price: $7900
I'm selling my 1989 Eriba Puck travel trailer since I also own a 1988 Eriba Triton and the wife doesn't really think we need two trailers.

The headlight switch from a mid-70's MGB is a direct replacement - it costs less than half of the comparable Range Rover switch and is very readily available.

People walking by my campsite even remarked on it the one time I used it. It was even worse if you were inside it. Time for a new tent.
What's even funnier is that I used a monopod for the first trial on my table too - after accidentally kicking the monopod and dumping the contents of the table on the ground I came up with the suspension idea.

These smaller diameter ones are used on the roof of VW buses which have a contour to them - you might give them a try

Thanks - a friend of mine gave me the idea of using the ladder - he used a vertical leg to support the table top but I had idea of using a cord to make it self supporting.
There is a neat little ratcheting block that you can get at Home Depot that works real well to hold up the back end. It...
