I'm trying to hold out but you just don't see them that often and being that my 80 has lockers and I have never really needed them I'm not sure I need the lockers...but I want them

Oh no it will get used I would peel of the running boards quick and put some bigger at tires on among other things.

i had a 1997 rodeo that ran forever. i loved that thing but the rust of midwest took it away from me ( you can only weld up rust holes in the frame so many times before you really start to fear for your life) i ended up selling it (yes i showed them the frame) to some kid who just wanted a trail...

Another question as long as we are talking. I have an arb on my 80 right now am going to sell it with the truck but I'm wondering if I should keep it and put it on what ever montero I buy. Do anyone think it would fit on say a 99 if I find one?

Well ill take that advice and keep looking for 2.5 found 2000 with 80,000 on rebuilt that I might go take look at but I need to unload my 80 first

Mpgs is one the reasons I'm selling the 80 I have and that's 16 on the highway so buying another vehicle that gets 18 doesn't make sense. Oh well new it is.

Cool good to know I found 1991 that looks nice but wasn't sure I would fit. What kind of gas mileage you get out of 91

At 6 ft 4 or so do we think I would fit in the drivers seat of a 91? I havnt ruled out early model but I'm not sure i would fit.

Also why am I finding so many with new motors in them? Some sound good but from what I getting from you guys it seems it would take decent amount of neglect to ruin an engine. Some are good deals but with a new engine I wonder what the rest of the truck is like. also thanks for all the input...

I just saw a 1996 5sp for sale had over 200,000 on but had the head rebuilt and new head gasket. I didn't know they made a 5 sp. It didn't have the locker but to be honest my 80 has front and rear I have never even used them. He's also g 2000 for it. Might be cool
