Another idea is to change all your interior lights to LED's. These do not attract bugs like other lights. Added bonus is the low current draw.

Interesting setup. I am hoping they make them for the XJ's and they are not too pricy. I know I hate having to disconnect/connect the swaybar ends but outside of electric disconnects (which would be cool for an XJ) this would not be a bad subsitute.
