Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

Those are sharp; I like them a lot.

    “Extend My Seat”

I'd be more concerned about headroom; at 6'-6", I hit the rollbar on the JL. Maybe the seat rail extender would put me behind it, but then I'd probably need arm extenders, too.

    Jeep gladiator build

LOL...I just realized he actually meant the bed replacement (and has the skills to do so). I thought this was just a fanboy dream build thread! ? I’d be interested to see this developed for the market as well. ?

New Jeep Pick Up to be unveiled...The Gladiator

AW YEAAAAHHH!!:cool:(y) Aw crap.:cry::mad:

New Jeep Pick Up to be unveiled...The Gladiator

Now you're talking! I'm just not sure if I would prefer to wait for the 2-door to replace my 2-door JK. Removing the backseat was my first "mod" and I think the shorter wheelbase would be better on the tighter trails around here. Plus (from the artist renderings I've seen of the 2-door...

New Jeep Pick Up to be unveiled...The Gladiator

I'm already envisioning a canvas top over the bed with roll-up sides. Just because.

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

That looks fantastic, Jeff! I wasn't sure I'd like it when you started, but after seeing the finished product I've changed my mind. The stock grill looks so dated now.

JK production comes to a close

That's a bummer; I was planning on replacing my '14 JKR in a year or so. Next time I'm near a dealer, I'll have to try one on for size (I'm 6'-6" tall).

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

Neat way to do a gravity-fed sink (for those who might not want the electric pump version).

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

Yes please! I've been wanting half-doors, but as you said: expensive. None of the aftermarket versions I've seen are suitable, IMHO. Something simple that seals well, with an inner panel that doesn't look too raw would be a welcome design. An armrest would be nice, for when the uppers are...

Will Automakers Get the Market and Make Simple Vehicles Again?

I thought to myself "self, that looks like fun!" :smiley_drive: And then I saw the price. :Wow1::yikes::squint:

That's so awesome! What an experience.

1976 Scout Traveler, Ultimate Expedition Build

No reserve. Hmmm...wonder if I can sneak in and steal it for a song. <wishfulthinking>

New Custom Grille Concept: Would you buy THIS?

I don't think people are necessarily disagreeing with you Badger; I think it's the way you express your opinions that people take exception to. This forum is definitely one of the better ones for respectful conversations and exchange of ideas, and I for one would like to see it stay that way...

Converting a factory JK/JKU hardtop to modular

It'll probably have one of those plastic-folding window surrounds like the JK soft top has. I'm sure you could design something better. ;)

    AEV Outpost II Wrangler

This has *got* to be AEV's prototype for the JT. Just gauging interest before investing in the R&D so it is ready when the JT hits the dealerships. They need a Jeep flagship now that the Brute is redundant. This with a diesel? Heck yeah.

Red_5 gets a ZR2 and bolts some things on...

I'm 6'6" and sat in the backseat; it's tight, but okay for a short jaunt. I'm sure lesser humans would find it okay. Driver's seat has tons of legroom. Much more comfortable than my JK. Seriously considering this one as well. I had an '91 S10 4x4 with 360,000 km on it (225,000 mi for our...

2018 Wrangler JL two door spy shots

The rear of the soft top looks interesting; the window panels wrap the corners and meet up with the rear fender. I wonder if they got rid of the fixed corners to be more open when running windowless?

    Wrangler JL news

If not a shut-off button, then maybe a "up-down-up-down-left-right-left-right-A-B-A-B-start" type backdoor sequence to permanently turn it off (like the way to turn off the stability control on a JK).

Converting a factory JK/JKU hardtop to modular

That's why I like Jeff's modular top conversion; the ability to run with a hardtop but no side and rear panels would be epic!
