On a JKU, I'd agree 100%, but on a JK: all the time. I think most people would want the retrofit kit for a slider, windoor, vent or completely removable side Windsor, but you'll still get some people who use theirs as a trail rig who would like this.

Is it possible to match the tops of the front and rear fenders? I think it would visually look better with a consistent line along the top. Also, it would make them higher clearance for the stuffed-big-tire-flexy crowd. :)

Nice! I was just thinking today (the first warm day that I was out in the JK with the windows down) how nice it would be to have operable rear window to reduce wind buffeting. I sometimes pop the back glass open just to be a bit more comfortable at speed with them down and the Freedom Panels...

x2! I'm considering going the Prospector XL route down the road. I'd have to build it rather than buy it due to being in Canada (import rules) and wanting to make some changes to what AEV provides. Plus building it over time would be easier on the wallet!

I can't really tell in the photos, but it appears the MCE fenders don't follow the curvature of the fender. Or are you referring to the "vertical" portion rather than the "horizontal" part?

A dealer wouldn't know how to do that...
