Drivability of 35" tires compared to 33"

Gosh darn, you are right. That makes things interesting! D-range too! http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire-selector/category/off-road-tires/all-terrain-t-a-ko2/tire-details#techspecs

    Craig's Offroad Teardrop Build

That looks really nice! Good work on the electrical tidying. One note about the fridge, might want to check to make sure it is getting enough ventilation. I've got mine in the back of my truck and when a bag got pressed hard against the rear side vent I could notice it cycling much more...

To Drawers or not to Drawers

I made my own drawer setup that works great for our needs. Really really happy with how it works, the left side is for all the cooking gear. The right side holds tools, spares and some more gear. Very nice to have all this easily accessible. Right side has the heavy duty drawer slides...

head unit options for 2002 100 series with factory navigation?

Short answer is that it can't be done without a lot of work. The OEM nav system is a PITA to retrofit. Here is the long answer: http://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/stereo-faq.50596/

    100-series rear bumper options

Texas, I had the same debate as you when purchasing a rear bumper. The LC is our family overlanding, vacation, trip and mild-off roading vehicle. I was able to see the Slee rear a few days before I was in CO to purchase a BIOR rear. For me there were two big factors in deciding to go with...

2003 Land Cruiser first time buyer

There are only 8 '03 or newer in the country for less than $15k on autotrader right now, including this one. The pics looks great. At 11.5 or 12 it's a super deal provided it has been decently well maintained and isn't full of rust underneath.

    Post up your drawer/storage system

@carbon60 - if you haven't glued that up yet some removable/adjustable dividers for the PS long drawer would be a great help in keeping the contents organized. I wasn't originally sure this was worth the extra work, but its very helpful!

2003 Land Cruiser first time buyer

11.5 would be a really good deal for an '03. The mileage is a bit high, but there is a pretty big price jump with the '03s. To the educated, it's a more desirable platform with the 5 spd tranny. You'd be looking at spending upper teens for something with significantly lower mileage. If...

    Storage options with dogs

I built a 10"H drawer system in the back of my 100-series, then some plywood dividers to provide an area for the fridge, water jerry can, shelf for storage and our 90# husky. It works really well, he has just enough space to stand up turn around and lay down and be comfortable, and it is much...

    Teardrop style trailer

I don't have a link because I am on my phone right now but I am doing some design on a teardrop that we are going to build/have built and I posted a sketch up drawing with all of the galley dimensions. My drawing assumes a 33 inch tire size. Had to do some cardboard mockup at home to make sure...

    Planning out a Teardrop

Check out the expedition Overland Videos for good information on towing a trailer in some pretty sticky situations. I too am planning/designing a teardrop right now and have conceded that for our uses it'll be dirt roads and light easy trails only.
