@libarata - sorry to have ruffled your feathers! Considering the price point and some of the construction details listed on their page I would be very surprised if it was a solid, well built unit. The description and few photos on the site reminded me of some lower end travel trailers. Ask...
Wow! Looks like the 50" made the 20" a bit unnecessary. Which model did they get you? I just got a Gamiviti roof rack and have been trying to figure out a front LED bar and some smaller rear flood/camping lights.
Hi Bruce,
A few more quick questions for you!
Did you ever get an official wet or dry weight on the trailer? How about the tongue weight? Are you happy with how it handles and tows down the road?
I had a long chat with Mario today. I don't need as much storage space b/w the front of the...
"Vinyl cabinet doors with velcro closure"
Sorry I just threw up a little on my keyboard!
If price is a big concern, can you build it yourself? Tons of great info available on building yourself. Check out tnttt.com and also tearjerkers.net
Have been working with AT to figure out the size of the chassis. Looks like total length would be ~193". 120" cabin, ~19" of storage space b/w the front of the cabin and the tongue box, then tongue box and then 18" extension before the max coupler.
I've moved the stove to the first shelf...
I couldn't find any good photos of the hatch door open, but from this photo (maybe just the angle) wasn't sure if the foxwing would have clearance to cover over the open hatch:
Hi Bob, one thing I did not see was a photo with the galley door raised. Was wondering how it worked with the foxwing awning? Most TD galley doors raise too high making a foxwing not possible.
Thanks!
@rubicon08 - the wife wants the dog with her, so we either build a TD big enough to fit the 3 of us, or I'll be the one sleeping in the car! :)
@luk4mud - thanks for the kudos. It's fun planning it all out. Still trying to work out details with AT. There's also a TD enthusiast gathering...
That price is a little high for the mileage and condition IMO. Check out the classified section of Ih8mud, some good examples of the earlier model 100s can be found on there. I'm just north of you and bought my truck from CA last year, was worth it (and a super fun trip to boot!) to find...
I thought I already bought the winning ticket?? ;)
Perfect chance to help out a good cause and potentially win a beautiful truck - that's a win-win. Kudos to those involved for pulling this off!

No real interest in an external tent or annex room setup. The point of the TD is to make setup and teardown as quick as possible! We want to be able to travel and cover a good bit of ground next summer. The setup above with a hard shell RTT will be awesome....2' setup time! All the bedding...
Which SoCal model are you going with? Any custom stuff or upgrades? We need to fit the dog somehow! I've been looking at some used stuff and a few good deals have come along in the last few months, just not sure how to fit myself, the wife and a 90# dog into the cabin of a 4.5x9!
I am talking to AT about one of their chassis, a builder to do the cabin and wiring and perhaps doing all the cabinetry and finishing touches myself.
SoCal and AT finished products are both out of my price range. We looked at a Little Guy and they were OK....but won't do the custom cabin...
Bruce - great info, thanks! I was talking about the hitch at the back of the TD, by the galley. It looks to stick out a few inches. I was hoping to make that flush with the back of the TD.
Also, do you have any other attachments or tow points on the TD? Do you think they are needed? I...
Well it looks like this is getting a bit more serious! We have been talking to a builder and trying to work out a final design. Would like to get some input from folks....
I would like to be able to tow this thing a variety of places. Would definitely like to be comfortable on forest...
