Yes it did. Some people used some round foam, but the hose worked fine for me. Mine used to seap in from the same location, run down the seal inside the door channel, then drip on my knee from the door seal near the grab handle.
It's interesting that this is still an issue. When the JK's first hit and we got our Rubicon, I added either 5/16 or 3/8 fuel line inside of it and it solved the issue as well.
