    Multi-tool with wine opener/corkscrew

I remembered seeing these in a catalog the other day: https://deutscheoptik.com/cart.php?m=search_results&search=corkscrew Maybe one of these will work for you.

    Coleman Campstove Oven carrying case?

You beat me to it. My bag came in today, and I did a trial fit. It is a very snug fit, but that's the way I want it actually (so it takes up less room in the trailer). Now I just need to make a trek to Jo-Ann fabric and see about getting some longer leather straps. Gunsandgearnetwork - where...

PowerTank 5lb propane tank bracket review

And there is this one, but it says for a 7" diameter cylinder. The fire extinguisher it is designed for is 7.25" diameter. My 5lb Propane tank is pretty much exactly 8" in diameter (I measured). The strap looks lower on this one; I need it at about 6.5" in the center of the strap up from the...

PowerTank 5lb propane tank bracket review

I've looked at this, but I think the strap is too tall to wrap around the tank. $39.99...

PowerTank 5lb propane tank bracket review

Any other options to this mount? I just got a 5lb propane cylinder (same one as in video above) and am looking for a mount for my trailer. I know they make fire extinguisher mounts that'll fit an 8" diameter cylinder, but I think the latch might be too far up from the base to secure the tank.

    Coleman Campstove Oven carrying case?

So I ordered one in OD green today. Figured it was cheap enough that if it doesn't work for my oven, it'll find a use somewhere else.

    Coleman Campstove Oven carrying case?

Very tempting. Looks like someone just ordered one (was that you?). I've got an email in to Blue Ridge Overland Gear, but I'm liking this one you linked. Are you going to try it with a Coleman folding oven? At that price I might have to order one just to test it out myself (in olive drab of...

    Coleman Campstove Oven carrying case?

I spent a while last night taping up the box with clear tape. It will help. I sent Blueridge Overland Gear an email to see if a Coleman folding oven would fit in their clear packing cube (pictured below). The measurements are so close; I'm hoping they've done a trial-fit at one point and can...

    Coleman Campstove Oven carrying case?

I have a Coleman folding Campstove Oven I've had for years that I want to start carrying again for when I'm adventuring (relatively) light and just bringing a one-burner stove (vs. my big two burner stove/oven combo). The cardboard box is getting a little (or a lot!) worn. I couldn't find...

    Camping Chair Storage Bag

I found an inexpensive solution for a bag for my ARB camp chair. In some ways, it was free! I was out in the shop reconfiguring the contents of my trailer for my next adventure (a snow run) https://expeditionportal.com/sierra-snow/ So as I was going through the gear on my shelves, I came...

    Kayaking in the Arctic Ocean

Cool video (even if it was in French). The purpose of our trip is to "run the Dempster" all the way to Tuktoyaktuk (and back). I want to call it an overlanding trip, but it is really more of a glorified road trip with camping and stops and such along the way. Just a bunch of guys and gals in...

    Kayaking in the Arctic Ocean

They are about 2-3 hours north of me. https://www.kayakacademy.com/products/kokatat-hydrus-3l-supernova-angler-suit?variant=971385967 This is about three times what I paid for the kayak. Looks nice though.

    One-burner propane stove?

So I tested out my little Gas-One stove this morning. Nice! Only tried it with the butane cylinder, but it worked flawlessly. With the piezo lighter (spelling?), it lit right up, and very even flame and quite the range from barely on to full flame. I don't know how long the butane cylinder...

    Looking for a particular hat

So I've worn my SK a few times so far (hasn't been that cold). I'm pleased with it. I'm looking forward to wearing it on my snow run in Jan and taking it up to northern Canada in August (running the Dempster). I like having the brim out front since I wear glasses. My wife likes the ear...

    Kayaking in the Arctic Ocean

Ok; I'm sold on the dry suit concept. I'm in. Now what's a good but very reasonably priced dry suit for up in the Arctic Ocean (in August if that makes any difference)? I'm not going scuba diving so I don't need all the valves and such.

    One-burner propane stove?

Yes - that would be smart; I need to buy a butane cartridge, and test it on both butane and propane. And just get familiar with it before I take it out on an adventure (third week in January). Maybe I'll heat up dinner one evening with it on the back porch. I've yet to see one of these little...

    privacy tents\shower tents feedback

I use this from Cabela's. Not expensive, and not the most heavy duty, but it does the job. Easy to set-up. I had it staked down, but I didn't have the tie-downs in place. I had the opening facing the water (nice view when sitting down), and I warned folks if they walked between my changing...

    Kayaking in the Arctic Ocean

A quick google search on dry suits shows they are expensive! And what's the difference between "dry" and "semi-dry"? I wonder if anybody rents them up in Tuk. Next thing to google: Spray skirts. Again; I'm hoping for placid water up there - essentially flat and calm. And we will be on a...
