    Trailer battery wiring questions?

Hi everyone, The wife and I received our Kamparoo trailer Friday and this thing is great. I so can't wait to get out for a trip. Still need to do the DMV thing as AAA does not title/register out of country vehicles. :( I do have a question regarding the on board trailer battery. I...

    Magellan Crossover 3.5"

I agree with all of these statements. My wife and I both LOVE the re-routing function. I also like the ability that once it makes a route, if there is a street I don't want to drive on, I can exclude it and it will find a different route not using that street, if possible. Another neat thing...

    We found our expedition trailer.

Well, it's on the truck and about an hour away at this point. I so can't wait for it to arrive. Been waiting almost two weeks it to make it down from Canada to San Diego. It is time yet??? :coffeedrink: Pictures to follow...

    Congo cage problems

Hummm... interesting. I really did not look at the way the bars mounted. I am surprised they are rubber and not a solid, metal to metal type mount. Is it just bouncing up and down or is it more swaying side to side? I wonder if there is a way to triangulate the bars on top (like welding...

Back up lights tied into reverse light circuit

Yep, you can use the reverse light circuit to activate the relay but you need to run a fused power line from the battery. The relay only draws a couple hundred millamps so it won't cause any problems with the stock circuit.

    Portable toilets

I haven't gotten it yet but it should be here any day. From the pictures I have seen, most likely the only thing that would work would be a PETT, since it folds fairly flat. Inside, with the bed, it limits things to about 9" high or so. Nothing can be in the area that folds over, outside of...

Hey, that is just like the one that should be arriving anyday. :wings: Where did you buy it from, Glen at Kamparoo or ??? I so can't wait for ours to arrive. Everyone has said they are sweet. I have not actually seen one in person but everything I researched looked like it was just what the...

    Portable toilets

That's what I figured I would do but it's not going to happen for the wife. She doesn't "need" a real bathroom but she does need some type of toilet. Whatever I can do to make the wife happy goes a long way to having her join me. :jumping: Thanks for the info guys.

time for tires for my 04 Unlimited.

Hey Brian, Someone posted this on NAXJA and I thought you might be interested. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=940619 I know you said you did not like your current wheels so this might be a good way to change them and get some tires at the same time. BTW, your PM box is full as I...

    Portable toilets

Bringing back an older thread. With the WAG bags, are these a one time use or multiple uses per bag? Looking to get a PETT and am just trying to figure out how many bags should be bought/brought. Figure for me, I can "water" the landscape and use the PETT once or twice a day but the wife...

time for tires for my 04 Unlimited.

I'll have to disagree (not saying you did not have good luck with them) with the Long Trails. I have had both, Long Trails and Rugged Trails (as well as A/T) from BFG. Long Trails are great if you do 95% street driving and 5% fire roads. They suck in the sand and soft dirt. Rugged Trails are...

time for tires for my 04 Unlimited.

Well, if you go to a 16" wheel, 245/75-16 fits that bill. I'm running this size in a Bridgestone Dueler REVO. Great tire and the size works great as there is no rubbing on the control arms, which is an issue with stock offset wheels and a 10.50 width tire.

Cool seat covers, anyone try them?

I was bummed. Went out to 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers to pick up a Hi Lift and I wanted to check these seat storage products out. At the store, it's a special order item, non returnable (except for store credit). Bummer as I wanted to make sure how well it fits the seats in my Cherokee. :(...
