    LifeProof Nuud for the iPad

Nope, the glass is unprotected, at least without the separate plastic case they sell. Also, they talk about being able to use their own screen protector, but I haven't looked into them. Perhaps their screen protector is similar to other film protectors but cut as to not interfere with the case's...

    LifeProof Nuud for the iPad

While I'm optimistic the design is going to perform as advertised, I'm realistic enough that I won't bet my (iPad's) life on it. Plus, I just haven't found a need to use the tablet while submerged!

    LifeProof Nuud for the iPad

Well, let me start by offering my apologies to LifeProof; the case, cover, and stand arrived today (and about 5 hours before I received the "your product has shipped" e-mail). Quick review: like the iPhone case, it feels good in the hand and appears very sturdy. There are o-rings for both the...

    LifeProof Nuud for the iPad

Good eye, Drew! Thanks for showing LifeProof's mixed messages. I'll give LifeProof a break, as I never saw the "pre-order" in the first e-mail title, nor in the link I followed from it; everything seemed to say, "Buy now!" It's therefore quite possible that their stock might come in at any...

ARB 50qt Fridge in a JKU?

I wish I could, but I'm electrically challenged, too, and had it done. Basically, though, I've got a fuse block in the back with a socket off of it to the fridge. I went this way to add other electrical items, like the water pump and cargo light, but if I was just doing the fridge, I would've...

SMP gave me their current quote for the inside racks as $450 for the lower section and $900 for the upper section.

    LifeProof Nuud for the iPad

Having been a satisfied customer with their iPhone case, I was an early subscriber to their waiting list. I was a bit disappointed, however, on how they handled the announcement the other day. I opened the e-mail and made my order about 45-50 minutes after they sent it. I got a order...

ARB 50qt Fridge in a JKU?

I also ran a direct line to the back and added a fuse block back there, just in case. Pics can be found in my build thread: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/72945-Expo-Daily-driver-JK-build-(Pic-heavy)

    Expo / Daily-driver JK build (Pic-heavy)

Thanks, folks. I took a lot of good ideas from around here and I'm pretty pleased with the results. I got my '07 in December of '06. Unfortunately, being an early adopter put me ahead of the curve when it came to JK aftermarket equipment. I originally had the Terflex budget boost, then went to...

ARB Fridge in a JK - Need Pictures / Ideas

I think my setup could work well with a soft top if the upper rack is locked with a padlock and some type of container, that could not be opened until the upper rack was unlocked, is used. Small, loose stuff would be open to theft, but the fridge full of your favorite beverages would be safe!

The light can be found at many places, including Siren.net: http://www.sirennet.com/wh3s.html. I haven't searched lately, so other places might have better prices now.

    Expo / Daily-driver JK build (Pic-heavy)

I'm very happy with the awning off the back. I definately wanted some protection at the back to cover whatever I'm doing in the cargo/kitchen area. I also wanted to make sure I could access the tent from either side, so a side awning wouldn't have worked. The hatch doesn't cause any problems...

    Sandals this Summer

Just spent a week with the family at Disneyworld. With all the walking, heat, humidity, and rain, the Chacos were great. Strongly recommended!

Here are some photos of the water hose from the FrontRunner tank to a SHURflo pump, which is then connected to a simple kitchen sink sprayer (many thanks to my friend Jim for his help on the install):

Thanks, Sparky. I'd also thought about sourcing a second 40-portion and figuring out how to replace the 60-portion, thereby leaving the center open for a fridge that could be reached from either rear door or the front seats. Never got close enough to doing it to see if it would actually work...

Where Do You Put Your ARB Fridge/Freezer?

I have a steel "floor" bolted in that holds the fridge, a Pelican case, and has two pull-out wood slabs as tables. An independent upper cargo rack gives additional storage. I'm apparently unable to upload photos from my iPad at the moment, but you can see everything at...

water storage on a jeep wrangler

I've also chosen the FrontRunner 13.2 tank and mounted it so that I don't lose use the rear seat. In the next few weeks, I'll be adding a Helton water heater to the setup. (More info on my Jeep here: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/72945-Expo-Daily-driver-JK-build-(Pic-heavy))

    Possible Rtt Option

I've attached mine to a bracket designed to match up with the main leg mounts, thus lowering the profile. I wanted to keep the bedding in it, rather than having to carry it inside, so I travel with the bed extended, but not raised. Here are a few photos:
