    7.3 question

I never claimed to decide what it was worth- I booked it, to find out what it's actual value is. Book prices are based upon actual vehicle sales prices, not pie-in-the-sky wishful thinking Craigslist asking prices. Asking prices have zero connection to actual vehicle value, and they also have...

I was agreeing with the comment made by twodollars. I never said I didn't like it. I am not "not letting him do his thing". He's free to do whatever he wants. And I too have seen some vehicles brought back from extremely poor condition also. But those were generally valuable and irreplaceable...

    Unimog 6x6 for overlanding

Is it a U2450L/38? What year? Pics? Price? Rust? GVWR? Right or left hand drive? I was looking for one for years, but ended up going another way.

Amen to that- this thread reads like an epic Greek tragedy. I'm just thankful he didn't kill the occupants of the oncoming vehicle. He bought a 40 year old cancerous wreck that barely moved under it's own power more than seven years ago, and it's even further away from being roadworthy today...

2006 Ford E-350 Ambulance Race Car Tow Rig

Yikes... Back in the '90s I had a 9-second GMC Typhoon (Google it), but it was not legal for anything quicker than 12.00, and I got kicked out after one pass.

2006 Ford E-350 Ambulance Race Car Tow Rig

Wow, that's gotta be a lot of work. Any car or truck that runs quicker than 9.99 needs a competition driver's license, SFI spec fire suit, current Snell-rated full-face helmet, SFI Spec 16.1 driver's harness, NHRA-approved full roll cage (not just a roll bar), SFI spec roll cage padding, window...

PIR is fun, fast, and easy to learn. The front straight is about 3/4 mile long. My Hayabusa radared at 190 mph at the top of 5th gear, at my braking marker for turn 1.

High 11s at just over 110 mph on 87 unleaded, through the muffler. No nitrous, no turbo, no supercharger. All steel, 2,300 pounds. It had a little 600 double-pumper Holley on a Racing Beat intake manifold and a Racing Beat header on a nearly stock 70 cubic inch '85 RX7 12A. I used Racing Beat...

We're not currently racing, although track days are still on the menu. We are on the west coast, so mostly we are at Portland International Raceway, where I have served as a road racing official, a road racing instructor, and an expert-licensed road racer. PIR has a really interesting history-...

After being cooped up in the house for a week with the wildfires, the air quality has finally improved enough for us to get going on it again. So we're spending a fun-filled day doing another round of sanding and filling...
