When the motorcycle adventure only takes 6.34 seconds:

Teasley's 6.34 second 222 mph Pro Street pass, self-starting, self-cooling, self-charging, muffled, on gasoline, on DOT-legal street tires, with a hand-operated clutch, no wheelie bar, no drag slick, and no slider clutch:

Where are good places to buy cable, wire, lugs, crimping tools, heat-shrink, bus bars, bus bar covers, main fuses, DC panels, AC panels, and so on?

Scanning the web, but I don't know a good retailer from a bad one. Don't really feel like taking my chances with bargain products off Ebay or Amazon, for something safety-related like this...

    New cannon:

Found 140 rounds of PMC 147-grain FMJ ammo for 83 cents a round after an LE discount, so at least we've got something to feed it. Finding ammo is pretty tough right now...

PowerMax PM3 120 LK for our 600Ah 12V lithium house bank?

Thank you. We would not be using household service as shore power on a regular basis, I'm just trying to give us as many charging options as possible. Would it be likely to pop a breaker if we attempt it? Any other chargers you think we should be looking at?

PowerMax PM3 120 LK for our 600Ah 12V lithium house bank?

It's fan-cooled, has a fixed-voltage mode suitable for LiFePO4 batteries, is capable of 120A charging current (which would be .2C rate), and draws 15A, which is about as much continuous current as we can expect from our little generator or a household outlet. What say ye? Are there any other...

Thanks, Charlie. Yeah, the T-case is divorced, and it's a single-speed. The engine is a C12, not a C13. The OEM tune is 425 horsepower, but I understand that there is a 540 horsepower tune available that does not increase the peak torque. I want to stay with the stock 1,550 pounds of torque...

The drawbridge hinge showed up today. 8 feet long, made out of 1/4" thick plate steel, with a 5/8" thick solid steel pin. It weighs about 100 pounds, lol...

We got 16 of the 28 in and snugged down, so I think we'll be okay. Gonna break now- taking the wife to the JP Sears show downtown tonight... :)

    Go big or go home:

We've got a high wind warning for this afternoon, so we snugged down the 12 box-to-bed mounting bolts that were just sitting in their holes up until now. We've got 16 more holes to drill to install the rest of them.

A Cheap and Cheerful Build - Geoff

We saw the Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust (Geoff) in the Top Gear Museum in England, during the CHM era. We also got to see the Reliant Robin space shuttle, the limousines, the diesel BMW 3-series race car, the rocket-powered Mini, the Toyboata, the Nissank, the indestructable Toyota Hilux, and many...
