Tell Me Why I Shouldn't Buy a WK CRD!

Sooo... another one popped up in my area. This one claims to have a rebuilt turbo, and new "front joints". It already has a 4" lift, an offroad bumper of non-ARB origin (gasp) and a "warren" winch. It's listed by a female and the few pics posted seems to have been well taken care of...

Stolen Rooftop Tent - Keep your eyes out please

I always felt that the size and scope of a RTT made it an anti-theft device, I was wrong. I shall keep an eye peeled here on the peninsula.

Why buy an Escalade when you can buy a knock off? The Chinese version is improved because it has a roll bar... I'm sure the windows are different too http://www.autoblog.com/2012/07/23/cadillac-escalade-ext-gets-the-bad-chinese-knock-off-treatment/

Tell Me Why I Shouldn't Buy a WK CRD!

Lame. I did have concerns, I never owned a 4x4 that didn't have levers connected to the t-case, it did worry me if they ever failed to engage or to disengage. In this case, it was a purely emotional decision... customers who make emotional buying decisions are the best kind of customers. It's...

Tell Me Why I Shouldn't Buy a WK CRD!

They want $11K for it. I could spend $11K on my 4Runner somehow and it would be pretty cool.

Tell Me Why I Shouldn't Buy a WK CRD!

Salty roads, rustable tank material, and all the service done close to the beach. Salt was a big part of this vehicles life and I can't vouch that the previous owners rinsed the skid plate out after driving though it all. Not worth the drive and full book price. If it was closer and cheaper...

Tell Me Why I Shouldn't Buy a WK CRD!

Yeah, they could've counter with a lower price though. They've only had it listed for 4 days so there's no desperation on their part. They will probably find someone who will pay their price. It's a good looking vehicle with under 100k miles

Tell Me Why I Shouldn't Buy a WK CRD!

I found other references to this issue on the webz. I told the guy I wasn't interested in driving 6 hrs to pay full book on a vehicle that may have a serious hidden problem. It's all been texts and he didn't counter with anything so I'm guessing this may be a dead deal.

Tell Me Why I Shouldn't Buy a WK CRD!

It seems this vehicle lived it's life in VA so I am concerned about the rusty tank thing. None of you are helping me not buy this thing otherwise.

Tell Me Why I Shouldn't Buy a WK CRD!

There's a 2007 WK CRD for sale at a Ford dealer about 6 hrs from me. Not looking for a new vehicle, not sure how I happened upon the listing, but I can't unsee it now. I absolutely loved my KJ CRD which I drove all over this nation in all manor of terrain. I loved the torque, I loved the...
