I really considered the new Colorado with the Duramax engine. I probably will not buy one over a Toyota though. One thing a GM truck cannot bring to the table is resale value. Toyota is the heavyweight champ when it comes to resale and that is bolstered by the love banks have for the brand.
No. It's not. Really. With the Yeti you get built in the USA awesomeness without all the annoying Chinese knockoffedness. That, and RTIC probably won't make it through 2016 as a company so instead of a cheap cooler, you'll have an expensive stool.
I sleep in my 3rd often when camping, I just recline the front seat all the way, add pillow and sleeping bag, and good to go. My fridge and my gear stay in the cargo area.
I've run two sets of Goodyear MT/R and currently have Cooper Discoverer ATs on my 4Runner. I plan on switching back to Wranglers in the next 30 days, but this time Duratrac.
I had an 06 KJ CRD which I drove all over for about 120k miles. It was a great ride in the winter, suct in the summer because I had to drive with the heat on full blast to keep it from overheating. Several visits to the dealer yielded no results, including one visit in FL where the service...
The dealer is stuck in the middle and is on the verge of telling both parties to ****** off (I would if I were them); I'd pay the $ and get down the road.
I've googled this, but all the subjects that come up don't seem to cover my issue.
Since I've owned this truck, I have a choice of maximum AC or maximum heat. I don't have the temp control dials, I have the old skool sliders for temp, airflow, and fan speed. The fan blows at each speed setting...
Sounds like an excellent retailer. It's not just selecting the right gear, you need the right outfitter as well. Even though I am now 2520 miles away, I still call Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters when I need something ARB.
Great news: it's a belt not a chain and needing a replacement has nothing to do with the shape of the motor.
If it's the 3.4, it's arguably the best engine Toyota built, I have 255k miles on mine and have replaced the belt twice.
Time for a new mechanic.
