Sorry to go off topic, but can you post a link or pics of your buggy. I've been going to a few events every year as a spectator, uroc and neuroc, you guys kick ass:)
Thanks for all the pics. I see a lot of you have the hinge on top of the bumper in front of the passenger side taillight. Any issue during inspections? Since I'm using 2x6 box, iwas thinking of putting the hinge on the face of the bumper. I'm looking at this for the hinge from Blue torch fab...
I started building a bumper for my buddies xj. The main part is 2x6x1/4box. I've been searching for a way to do a cool tire carrier. He also want a shovel, axe and hilift mount. I am looking for ideas to keep it clean looking. If you have pics or links, I'd appreciate seeing them.

I just put a ford ranger 60/40split bench in my buddy's wrangler. He has 3 girls so he needed an extra seat. The ford bench mounting feet are basicaly level and would sit nicely in a truck bed. His even had a flip down center console:)

That would provide some definite pucker factor:arabia: I once got stuck in a swollen river b/c I forgot to lock my hubs in and could not crawl out the far bank:( I had to back downstram on to a gravel bar, get out in knee deep water and lock them in. I always double check now:)
