Need help deciding, Why a Tacoma over a full size truck?

I’d say to follow your heart...get the toyota and if for any reason you don’t like it you’ll be able to quickly sell it. Probably have a harder time selling the 150 quickly. I had a tan 86 xtra cab which I LOVED. Sold it because I needed more room for kiddos. Been in full size since.... I still...

    What Half-Ton Truck & Why

I had a 13 F150 with the 5.0. It had 255/80/17 tires and my hand calculated mpg was 18.3. A little worse in the winter but not bad. I had the 5.5 bed that I couldn’t deal with. If I had gotten the bigger bed I’d probably still have it. Have fun shopping.

5.9 or 6.7 Cummins? Want to weigh in?

Go newer. I’m still a bit sour with the 5.9s considering I have one in my yard that needs it’s third engine! Bought new in ‘06 and was great till 119,000 miles. That’s when the #6 cylinder went out stranding my wife south of Albuquerque at night. She loved that truck so we gambled on another...

    Towing MPG- Gas Trucks

I had a 14 F150 with the 5.0 and 255/80/17 and always got 18 around locally. Towing lightly it would drop a little. Great truck

    Cooper ST Maxx

Fantastic tires. Been running them on multiple trucks for years now... heavy towing rig and recreational rig. Not sure we’ve ever had a flat...knocks on wood... figured you would have traded that sucker in by now!

    Reverse leveling kit?

Thanks guys. Coils are Bilstein and I wonder if they’re built for diesels because I seem to have more than the advertised 2 inches.

    Reverse leveling kit?

Anybody ever change out the rear blocks on a truck to bring the ass end down? I needed new shocks this spring and found a sweet deal for new shocks with some coils that were a bit longer than stock...aka leveling kit. My intentions were to get some 35s before winter. Now I’m a bit concerned...

    2010 Tundra Build “TRD Ferguson”

Hate to be pesty:)..... with your tires getting used are you still planning on the st maxx replacement? I’ve been running them for years and want something a bit more aggressive. How’d those pros do this past winter? Thanks

What do you use for a truck gun?

Trike... what caliber is that trapper? Nice, on my short list.

    F150 - 5.5' vs. 6.5' bed?

I had a ‘13 5.0 5.5 foot bed and work in the trades... I hated it(bed). If I could’ve justified it I would’ve kept it. Great truck otherwise. I’m short and was able to sleep diagonally in it. Loved the big tank and 18 mpg.

    Overlandtowater’s solid axle suburban

I’ve got 255/85/16 cooper st on mine. Great tire. I sometimes wish I’d gotten 35’s. I just got the truck in the fall and haven’t driven it much yet, so I’m not sure about mileage.

    Tundra vs F150

Went through the same thing a few years ago. Ended up with the 150 because I liked the interior better and it got better mpg. Really like how the rear window goes down in the Tundra. Resale is better on the Tundra. Couldn’t even give my 5.0 away... really can’t go wrong. You can find supercrew...
