I have both my batteries and my CTEK under my hood here in Phx Az and while I know heat is the enemy things have been working well for over 5yrs of service. My CTEK unit is also getting power from my solar panel with no issues.

I turn my Extreme Outback setup on when I hit the trail or if I need air around the house, otherwise I leave it off. But after I am off the trail I notice I can keep air in the 2gal tank for a couple days.

My wife is the coffee drinker. I am all about the apple cider :) We used to run an Aeropress but now it is a Moka pot with the Italian stuff in a can meant for it. She is happy and that is all that matters to me.
