Arctic and extreme cold weather gear

When I work outside I wear Carhartt insulated bibs, and a Carhartt winter jacket. Under the bibs my double knee Carhartt pants and depending on the weather and the job either silk weight long underwear that's a synthetic and wool blend, or a thicker polyester set. Under the jacket a synthetic...

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

300A has manual lumbar, fore and aft, and recline. That's all for adjustment. Steering wheel tilts but no telescope.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

Not in XLT we don't. I've had power seats. I don't get the appeal outside of the ones u can save the seat setting and have multiple drivers where you just press a button and it moves to exactly where you want it.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

What is the extra 2 ways of power in the power seat in the 8 way vs 6? Lowly XLT owner 4 life here, in happy I have a dial to twist for lumbar. Back in my GM days half my car's had dual climate control and 6 way seat. Up, down, fore, aft, tilt forward, tilt back. That's 3 ways.

2020 Ford F250 on 37s - Expedition Truck Camper Build!

Not an apples to apples comparison but on my 3.73 geared 3.7 V6 F150 stock size was 235/75R17 (30.9) and went to BFG KO2S in 34x10.5R17 (they measure small so call them a 33) and that's about the max it can handle without a regear. I've tuned the truck and calibrated speedo/shifting etc with new...

Here is a pic of the old, beat springs.

    2017 F-150 build...Everyone meet Walter White

What he is saying is maybe it's one wheel that's worse and if u move the wheel positions around the wobble may change, helping you narrow down the issues.

The full sized mid-size, my 2014 F150 "Fiddy"

Springs and duragrip are installed. Truck likes to get sideways now. Just drove it home tonight, been working 12s including today, so will test it out better when we get more snow. Still suspension noise to sort out

Some traction for the front of an f150. Which would you pick?

My mechanic is putting a duragrip in my F150 rear differential right now so I won't have useful info for you in time

2021 F150 Tremor - updated build and price now available.

Really for the money, get a vanilla XLT with rear e locker, pick the A la carte skid plates, add your own coil over kit of choice, and larger tires of choice. Or overpay for an FX4 to get hill decent control and some mushy shocks you'll be taking off anyway, and do the above. Guarantee you in...

    37s Load D or E?

Load E. Not like you are worried about a stuff riding tire with that kind of weight on it.

2015 - 2020 F-150 Tires. What size are you running?

I haven't been thrilled with my K02 for the price in either 235/80R17 or 34/10.5R17. Snow is ok, dry pavement ok. Wet pavement not good, ice not good. Haven't been in enough mud or rocks to have opinion. Never had a flat though, and have pulled out an S2 staple that folded up on itself rather...

The full sized mid-size, my 2014 F150 "Fiddy"

Tried to order new rear shocks (just the Billy 5160 again) and new fog light replacements from Stage 3 Motorsports on Friday after work, but apparently you have to call in your orders if you are from Canada, and can't order online. I thought it was 2020?? What's next, I need to send a fax...

    2020 F250 Possibilities

Wouldn't u do it backwards? Have the truck in business first as a write down or depreciable asset, then when the tax benefits are greatly reduced move it to personal use? That's how I did it with my F150. 4 years in fleet, and upgrades or repairs are an expense. Then retired it to my personal...

    F-150 fng build

It's like $900 for Bilstein 6112 front and 5160 rear shocks. I'd do that and some larger tires maybe 34s if u have 3.73 gears and full skid plates, along with any preventative maintenance and rust mitigation.

    Best Bronco for overlanding

The sasquatch package gives a far steeper transfer case reduction and steeper final gear doesn't it? To me that's where the big $ is. You can always sell the 35s and get some milder, narrower ATs in a 33-34 for a bit better fuel economy and road manners.
