Why not get some 37-38 regular AT/MT tires? Will help with acceleration, braking, handling, overall wear and tear, and fuel mileage. Or is that the plan?

No removable top and/or doors? solid axles? manual trans? Needs to have at least a few of these things.
If it doesn't, its not a defender. MIGHT be a great vehicle, but it's just a ruggerized LR4 or discovery or whatever.
Air bag suspension? Get real. JLR can't even get the simple...
Why not 33*10.5 tires? 35s are huge on a XJ and not needed for broverlanding and negatively affect acceleration, steering, and braking.

UPS/fedex/USPS local delivery need to be electric. They are setup perfect for it. Set route, known mileage everyday, and home base every night.
The cost savings from lower maintenance would have to be immense.
Is that 60k on the entire truck?
4 or 6 cylinder?
Any major work or repairs?

If you do decide on a first gen, get the 2.8 V6 (super slow, but super easy to work on and upgrade, and parts are plentiful) with the 5 speed. Slow, but bulletproof trucks with tons of interior space.
Those aren't that rare, and are too long. The CCSB is what you want. Not too long, still a 6.5 bed, and way cooler.
