what do you do with all the old wheels and tires? Do you have 'universal' front and rear driveshafts (with enough slip) already made up or is each one made to order? I guess the fronts can all about be the same.

I'm a HUGE fan of land cruisers....but a Suburban, with slightly cranked torsion bars, add a leaf, some good shocks, skidplates, and great tires, and you've got a great rig that will go anywhere a 100 series will go (Suburban only limited by length) You;d want all that stuff on the Cruiser also...

U Joint conversions sometimes does the same....larger wheels up front to use larger rotors, but stays with the factory 16 inch wheels on the dually rear. Overall OD is the same, and only really need to carry a front spare...can limp along if a dually tire blows out. Not ideal, but doable. Sent...

That's odd that the wrecker chose to use a van, and then pay to convert to 4wd. Could have easily bought a 4wd F350 that are a dime a dozen, even with a wrecker body.

what year is the truck? auto or manual?

still not sure why you took the sherpa off the back and made a trailer. The two times you've posted it here, the flat deck was empty, and having a trailer is not ideal in the woods or sand.

such impressive work. anyone who balks at the price of conversions should read this thread. please no snorkel. are you gonna use a 'factory' style pleated filter or a cone filter? Those washable cone filters are questionable when it comes to engine longevity.

cool man....you claim to make good money. I could care less. I care more about the incompetence that sent a somewhat rare, sought after vehicle, to its death. 5 seconds of convo could have eliminated the confusion. anyway, carry on....love all these vans.

why pull the add a leaf? Blocks can (will under load) cause axle wrap. 4" block is pretty significant. Personally, I'd never go above 2" on anything.

why wouldn't your 'partner', if he is such a thing, behave and communicate with his employees as to not harm you? If your so called partner can't be bothered to mention to his guys to not touch your van, he seems pretty worthless. I can't stand incompetence if you can't tell
