My plan right now (which it might change), is to rip down 2x4's in half, paint one side and use VHB to attach them to the walls. VHB needs a non-porous surface to work the best. For the ceiling, attach furring strips to the ribs with rivet nuts and then attach the ceiling.

Make sure you have the right torque spec for the rear pinion nut. Mine backed off and caused havoc.
