I left 18" of room at the back of the truck for fridges, coolers, toilet, 5 gallon water jugs, chairs, etc. Here they are easy to load and can be easily pulled out while camping. You can move the coolers/fridge to the small bench, for easier access to your favorite beverage :).

Looks like it's coming out close to my original concepts. The kitchen will be fun to design/build this winter.

Since I'm a better carpenter than seamstress, I designed the layout around stock cushions. This might be a good concept for a 4 door Wrangler also, just with lower seat height and shorter cushions.

I couldn't wait to open it up!! Might have to sleep in the driveway tonight?. I was a bit worried about my color choice for the cushions, but I think they worked out pretty good. They match the tent and my jeep seats nicely.

I was pretty excited when I saw what showed up from Fed Ex today. It only took 5 minutes to open the boxes and throw the cushions in the camper. I'll take some better photos when I open up the camper this weekend.

Are there any good DIY ideas on how to put bug screens in my roll down truck windows, while camping?

I was struggling whether to go light and simple, or go full on cabinets and kitchen. My 90/10 concept won out. I use the truck as my daily driver and to haul stuff 90% of the time, and 4 wheel/camping 10%. But I love the 10% so much! Light, modular and simple! I think the furniture is only...

In this case, I want the bottom of the platform to slide easily against the carpeted truck bed bulkhead, so no bedliner on the bottom of the plywood. I might do a smooth finish, but add a few small velcro tabs to hold the cushions in place. Still deciding. I'm done for now, it's been a busy...

Well it only takes a few minutes to take it in and out of the truck. And I can still sit four people up front, then convert the back to the camper.
