Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

Yes, the shallowest Jeep seat I can find (Smittybilt) is 19” deep which would give me 16” between the seats. It’s workable but I want to tilt the seat backward which might not work and use too much space. The Land Rover bench seats look great but are only about 13” deep. Bit more for kids. I...

    Land Rover ideas for Jeeps

I love Land Rover campers like Dormobile and others. I copied much of their ideas into my Gladiator build (almost done).

Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

I found some relatively cheap new jeep seats on eBay and RecPro. Still not sure if they're too big and will leave enough foot room between them. The inside of my camper is 55" across.

Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

Alright, I need some help. I have a bunch of interior layouts swirling in my head and need to pick one. One of the ideas is to have jump seats on both sides of the camper, like a dinette. I was thinking about a couple CJ5 back seats. Can one of you with a CJ5 or CJ7 measure the back seats...

Here's my pic of the day. This is what you get when you cross a CJ7 with a JKU. The owner loved Scramblers and Gladiator's but didn't have the cash, so he built his own! He put a CJ tub on a JKU frame, engine, and drivetrain. He even fabricated the back tub. I think it's awesome.

Heading to the River Road Jeep Run today from Glen Carbon to Grafton, Ill. It's a beautiful drive along the Mississippi River Bluffs, with a few detours for ferry crossings, breweries, and sightseeing. We had about 600 jeeps in the convoy last year. See you on the river!

Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

Alright I'm a cheapskate and it seams like I buy somethining every week for this build. I'm debating if I want to carpet myself with the furniture build, spend $200 on a floor Bedrug, or $400 for a full bed Bedrug. One thought occurred to me. Do I need to carpet the entire truck bed for...

Great idea to add padding to the tailgate. I didn't know the Bedrug tailgate section's padding was thinner than the beds

Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

Funny you mentioned Bedrug. I just got a quote for one yesterday from another forum member. I like that they are cushioned rugs which cover the gap and the tailgate. My knees are killing me from kneeling on the tailgate. The factory spray in bed liner is very rough. I'm still debating...
