Great idea. I've used my truck's own winch over a tree limb to put a deer in the bed. It's a bit trickier to put on a camper shell on with the vehicles own winch, but you've got me thinking. ?

Here's a new topic. How do I take this on and off by myself? Since it's not fully enclosed, I want to store it in my garage when not used and go from hardtop to convertible, to camper, fairly easily. My camper is too tall to drive in my garage, so ceiling mounted hoist won't work.

Nice simple idea, and I love the dimensions of the seat and table. The engineer in me usually gets carried away and overkills design. My original idea was to keep it simple and light enough to change back to a truck. After all, the reason I love the gladiator is that it's the Swiss Army Knife...
So the newest question is drawers or shelves, like the picture below. Drawers are useful but difficult to build and heavy. Shelves keep it light and simple. Any opinions from the experts?
