Funny how my rear wall looks about the same about now, blue tape assisted design :) We are also in the process of designing a rear wall tire carrier, there will be a shallow small box also. NOT a lot out there to purchase off the shelf for the 41" MPT 81 either.
My RAM 5500 will be headed...
You will notice one thing that is missing in the pictures so far is a table. Having read some mixed reviews on the Laguna, not looking to start a flame show...LOL, we sought out some other options. Fixed telescoping pedestal, fold away, removable pole type.
My wonderful wife came across...
Every now and then it is nice to clean up little, step back, and actually see the progress!
Couch storage, 2 right doors. Systems access far left door.
Off to powder coating in the morning! FINALLY! I decided to add an external air hook up to the passenger side storage box, large single...
Change gears...wood to metal :)
You need a place to put diesel in the beast. We did give thought to mounting the fuel fill on our subframe but our outer rail was not wide, tall, enough to do so. I like the thinner outer rail look and OAT did not think we needed the extra steel. They did...
$950....I WISH!
Was more than that in June of 2022, even with my friends shops discount we could not break the $1250 barrier in the Atlanta area for the 48X96 inch panel, .120 thick also....if my memory serves me well.
The HDPE route worked out well, so no complaints.
CHEERS!!
No worries :)
We really like the panels and working with them was relatively easy. Not cheap but I would buy them again. We used the 13MM (.51 in) That is why you see the double bamboo edge near the bathroom door, I used it as an edge finish for the honeycomb panels...
Stainless steel welding is something I would NEVER DIY. You MUST know your stuff!
I have a friend who is a professional welder, 30 plus years experience and has a shop. Teaches and certifies welders to the AWS standard in MANY different alloys for commercial, aerospace and airline industry...
DETAILS....DETAILS....you know the drill.
Can not wait for the shell to be completed. You definitely have worked your @@@ off.
I think you will put most so called "professional" shops to shame, because it is yours you care more.
I called that the G.A.S. ideal, for DIY. DO NOT get me...
HOLY HARDWARE! Spent a little time last night working on the wardrobe. SO GLAD we included this in the design. YES...we copied ER, and Museroamer, a BUNCH but we had to plan LIKE CRAZY to get everything in 24 feet! The drawer slides are no more than an inch from the back wall and the front...
Happy New Year!
Working away......
The last 2 storage boxes are at the hanger and trial fit. HOPEFULLY off to powder coat in 2 weeks!
Front fuel fill will be installed in the triangle top right as high as possible tucked into the corner.
BOTH fuel fills will be recessed, waiting on 4.5" thin...
Awesome rig. It has been fun to watch the build and your progress along the way!
Good luck with the sale and I look forward to the next build.
Cheers!!
Microwave information. My wife shopped the sales :) It has gone up about $150 since we bought it.

CHEERS!!
I will be on the look out where you mount the shock reservoir. I assume the reservoir exit post at mid shock is to aid in the mounting process ? It would be a pain to have it at the top with our frame set up, you could never get to the darn thing to adjust it.
Keep it up! You are making...
OCD....:p??...can get you now and then!
I talked with a friend who has a TON of wood working and cabinet making experience before making our choice. He used to build custom cabinets on HIGH END homes. The 3/4" weighs only 13 LBS more a sheet than the 1/2" The 3/4" should be more stable, in...
Vance,
I REALLY contemplated doing ALL the cutting myself. I figured paying a CNC shop to make a few cuts was worth it because if I made one mistake it could cost me $$$. Just making the plunge cuts for the bathroom door vents, there will be a few more of those around the camper, was...
