That is unfortunate. It is definitely a different way of building things. The attitude is what really sucks though. Glad you didn't waste your money!
What I find interesting is that when someone posts about a negative experience with XPcamper, forum moderators delete a TON of posts to cover...
Crazy! Can't imagine he owes that balance on the truck still. I must have sold it 4 years ago...? Camo seat covers, hids and painted tail lights? Uck ;)
Actually their normal solution is to plug the weep holes in the bottom. After plugging mine and installing a Yakima crossbar and fairing on the truck, I don't have a single drop get in the camper when driving in heavy rain. Without it, there is some weird airflow going on back there. Another...
Thank you! Baby is 3 weeks old now and doing great!
The truck is tentatively sold. Waiting for credit union instructions from buyer.
SO that means the camper is now going to be for sale separately. Solar panels, racks, mppt controller and tacoma bed mounts will all be included...
Holy cow. I've been busy and just caught wind of what happened. So sorry to hear about it Mike!
I hope you can salvage something, but could totally understand wanted to just cut your losses with the project too. It would be tough to be reminded of the experience and money/time that went...
Looks good. Without having looked much I would try to make sure it fits trucks with superchargers, snorkels, air injection pumps etc. Looks like 2 gauge wiring which has been just great on my second gen with blue sea ACR.
I still need to pull up additional receipts when I have time, for batteries, solar, blue sea equipment etc. Sitting in the hospital again all morning.
I did decide to look at the four wheel camper website again, production time is 3-4 months. So I priced out a new fleet with the same...
Here are just a couple receipts I've dug up on my phone. I've literally tried to post these half a dozen times but have been interrupted by flailing kid, flailing wife, hospital trips etc... Nowhere near complete but a start.
Thanks! It's not that I wouldn't sell them separately, I'd just strongly prefer to keep it together if possible for a number of reasons. One being that it really works better than anything else I've used so far, overall driving and handling, charging etc. I put a lot of thought into making it...
Sigh, here it is... :/
Turn key, go anywhere, ready for adventure...... Hope it goes fast, like ripping off a bandaid, before I change my mind again.

Tomorrow I will...
Nice to have a light and compact setup!
New Renogy solar panels, mounted on angle aluminum, secured to the Yakima tracks. Full crossbar setup included (not pictured). Yes the adhesive from the old solar install remains, it's been too cold and wet and I've been too busy to remove it...
Well here it goes... Sticking with my unfortunately reputation, I've had this rig for almost a year and it's time to move on. Once again life had different plans than I did, and our second child is due any day now. We have outgrown this rig, as much as we love it. I setup this truck to carry...
I finally had a few minutes (and sunshine!!!) to work on cleaning more.
Also have the title for both truck and camper, just need to commit and come up with a price I suppose..
