    Factory 4WD/AWD on Ford Transit?

I wish Ford did, or will. But I doubt it. My next van will be a Transit with the Quadvan 4WD conversion on it.

Project Little Van - Daily Vanagon/Adventure Rig

My grandfather had 2 VW vans. A older Westy and a “newer” yellow 80’s Westy. We did a lot of camping in those growing up. You’re right about most people having trouble just keeping them running. I love the detail you’re putting into this build. If syncros weren’t so expensive for what you...

Not So Subtle E350 Shuttle - 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed

I live in Ujoint country and figuring there’s probably more jacked up 4x4 vans in this town than anywhere else, I still get CRAZY attention. Literally, people stop and point. When my wife is in my van, she laughs at the attention I get. Couple weeks ago, a guy came and knocked on our door (I...

I'm so jealous of the snow pics. What do you have in mind for the roof rack?

    Horton minimod ambulance build thread

Awesome. Thanks. You did it from the inside of the van? Not from the front? I looked it it and it seems impossible from the front. I need to rebuild mine, it's leaking. How is the adrenaline pump? Any improvements with it?

    Need help from Florida guys.

Thanks for the input guys. The rig is a American Red Cross response vehicle, with only 35k miles. He's my cousin in Mississippi, and he has about $500 in it. He has a side business (one of about 3,000 lol) where he buys salvage trucks with clean titles and fixes them to sale. He got that one...

    Need help from Florida guys.

I have a friend who has an emergency vehicle I'm looking at. He got it at auction. It's a 99 E-450, VERY, VERY low miles on a 7.3L and a tall roof. Here's the problem, it has a certificate of destruction title. I've done some research, and can't find what I'm looking for. If I bought it, could...

You're not gonna be able to rock crawl with them, but they're pretty solid.

    2000 Ford 7.3L Motovan build (225's build cont'd)

LOL, thanks. I get that and Storm Trooper a lot. When you own a 20 year old van, it tends to nickel and dime you to death. Prime example, the blower motor voltage regulator went out, and fried the plug. Pulled the lift and covered the spot with more flooring. Added aluminum trim so it...

None of UJOR's fiberglass tops has a cage. Let me know how it goes!

Yours probably has a roll cage between the two layers. My top came with a roll cage, I just didn't put it in. If yours was a handicap van, that's mandatory by law to have. You don't need it. There's plenty protection in the driver area with the cab top still in place.
