    Where/how often do you shower?

I totally agree on the Dr Bronners...both the quality of the product and the fun of reading the bottle. I am all about things that serve mulitple uses...and Dr Bronners can be used as body wash, shampoo, dish soap and even toothpaste. Oh and as to emerg uses how about as a lube with reseating...

    Where/how often do you shower?

Being an amputee I have to sit to shower which makes things tough... So I normally either use the baby wipes each night before bed or will take advantage of the hot water system on the Sportsmobile to do a rag wipe down. Then about once a week I can manage to put together a longer stay and...

    A Utah Adventure...

OH this is great... keep it coming! And there is never such a thing as a short hike where you don't need anything. My friends & family make fun of me about taking my small pack with me for a "short hike"..but my rule is if you are gettting out of eyesight of the rig then BE PREPARED

    Expedition Celica latest adventure

Hey there, My son and I worked RB#1 on Perkinsville ? with Michael (BajaXplorer) and Mark (crawler976) Friday night and enjoyed seeing your rig closing the course. But Sat was even better as we moved down to Roadblock #6 where there was a cattlegaurd down in the low area before a hill climb...

97 40th Anniv. Locked Mall Rig "What next?"

Well I don't have the Amsoil kit on an 80 series, but I am very impressed with the dual filter setup on the Disabled Explorers Sportsmobile. It makes filter changes a breeze and running 10k miles on oil changes (they say 15k is fine) makes the expensive oil last longer.

    The DrewMobile Wheelchair Van

Looks great Drew! Floor to ground clearance is the big hassle when it comes to lift. I really like the lift you are using and just wish it was possible to get a longer arm setup or something. Great build and keep us posted

    New member, another troopy

Very cool and welcome, Of course there are a ton of questions we have for you like...are you a US citzn and importing it temp? Will you have to return the rig to Oz before departure or can you run around the Americas before returning? If you check out these threads for cool euro builds on...

    Q: for Lance

Dude I am a dork...you mentioned it as a tow rig and yet I kept looking at those rear door pics :) Sorry about that. The fold away lifts are way cool and I really like'em. Ricon/VMI has been working on the clearview for a while, they are based here in Phx so I will go by and get a status...

    Q: for Lance

A couple of thoughts... 1) Don't hype the engine, remember these are in vans not trucks and just don't cool as well. If you aren't on the powerstroke forum and other diesel sites start hanging out and you will see that the most dependable vans are the ones with little to no engine mods 2) Since...

Advice: Best choice for overland trip video recording?

I am running 2 cameras: 1) a Canon HV20 which is HD and uses tape, has a shotgun mic and is big compared to some of the stuff out there, the tape makes a nice backup but the download and processing time is longer compared to other options 2) Kodiak Zi8 which is like the Flip, shoots HD, has a...

    Q: for Lance

No cash or sponsor love for swapping out the lift yet...Braun won't give me the time of day and that it after meeting Ralph Braun himself, oh but they did send a copy of his book :) Honestly none of the lifts are made for off road use, I have learned that you need to keep a small broom around...

    GEOFish - Expedition Mexico 2010

will you be doing the hotel thing or trying to sleep in/on the rig? of course I love a fridge so that is worth doing, maybe going with bucket seats in the passenger area and a fridge in the middle? ARB make a 12vdc LED light called the Adventure Light, it is great for around camp Quality...
