people greatly underestimate the capability of a base model Jeep, especially JK owners. everyone believes for whatever reason that if you are truly going to offroad you need the 4:1 transfer case and electronic swaybar disconnect; and no body really knows why they think they need that. IMO...

id be ditching all that heavy steel stuff for some Savvy aluminum stuff. keeping it light is key to longevity

sounds like your truck weighs a lot. IMO id be ditching steel any where i could for aluminum. a 3/8ths 6061-T6 plate would be good replacement for that 1/4" steel and every bit as strong

Very worth the drive. I think you're too big to hit lions den though. You might not fit through the entrance. I'd like to see you hit little jagger though Let me know when you go, well head down there. Plan on atleast 3 full days to see most of the park. It's 5000+ acres
