I loved the Gladiator right up to the point that I sat in one. At 6’8” it’s just not an option. Bummed me out too. They might be one of my favorite looking vehicles on the road.

LOL! I did go with orange, but did this hoping they’d be easier to find in mud after being used. However mine are on the inside of my truck bed under the tonnau cover. I guess I mounted them wrong.

Cool build. My wife’s daily is a 2019 Colorado ZR2. She absolutely loves it. It’s a fun truck for sure! Compared to the TRX I feel like I can park the ZR2 anywhere.

I agree 100%. If I was going to get into overlanding I’d look at a Super Duty with the 7.3L and the Tremor package.

The 2023 prices scare me! A 2023 optioned as my 2021 is $20,000 more! The horsepower is fun, and from a dig there isn’t a lot that will run with the truck. Once you hit 60 or 70mph it’s quick for a truck, but there are a lot of things out there that will be faster.

The TRX is my daily driver, go to the woods hunting truck, pontoon boat puller, and the family long distance road tripper. I have around 23,000 miles on it, and I’ve really enjoyed the truck. The fuel economy is similar to what my 2012 Power Wagon was (that’s not a compliment to the Power...

We don’t overland or tow anything heavy, so the TRX works. If we were getting into the overland thing I’d look at a Power Wagon again. Most of my off roading now is forrest service roads during hunting season.

This has been a cool journey to follow. I have to admit, a Honda Accord would not have been the first vehicle I’d pick for this adventure, but it’s cool to see how well it’s done.

What about either a Ram Power Wagon or even a Ram 2500 Mega Cab? Both would offer more interior room, and both would tow your trailers with no issue.

The biggest problem I have is when both vehicles below sticker for almost the same (I actually paid less for the TRX than the Bronco Raptor $80k sticker), I just can’t justify the Bronco Raptor. It’s cool, but for $80k I expect a lot!
