    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

I've thought about renting an enclosed, but I called a couple places and they want ~$80 bucks a day. $1100 for two weeks.

Looking for some recommendations guys, i'm going to be hauling two quads and a dirtbike from Northern Canada to Southern Arizona on a flatdeck trailer, how in the hell do i secure them? Looking for recommendations. My initial thought was just some grade 70 transport chain and good locks, but a...

I believe the stock intercooler works fine with the bumper. While you do have to remove the front crash bars, the rear set remains in place. 2015 F150's did not have these from the factory, and they're perfectly safe. While it's on my mind, it's not a massive concern to me.

Light bar installed. Bolted to the bumper so when I replace it with the ADD one I can just swap the bar to the bumper. Picture doesn't really do it justice as the phone camera dims out a good portion of the light. And bonus of the pup wearing a toque :)

I love my job but it gets really stressful at times. Need to get away for a while and recharge, so I decided to take an unplanned vacation. Likely going to head down to the Phoenix area (family has a house there i’ll borrow) for a week or so in mid March. I’m definitely going to bring a quad...

Interesting! The other option i'm tossing around, I already have an 18' big tex flat deck that might work... Throw a flatbed camper on the front half, rear half for open garage. Would definitely have to flip axles though...

I've had a bit of a change of heart. I've spent so much time trying to find the perfect solution, and I think it's been right in front of me the entire time (and suggested a BUNCH on here as well) Cargo trailer. Front half i'll build out as camper, back half garage. How hard is it to flip axles?

    Bug out challenge

I live in a very small town in the middle of no where northern Canada. Load up the truck with my personal little armory, toss the 25 gallons of spare fuel I have at all times in the truck, a few pre-prepared boxes of gear, couple of my chainsaws, quad in the bed, and i'm out the door in less...

I've looked at the Escape and Oliver stuff, I just can't get over the way they look like they're from the 80's... Of course, function over form, but that much money for something I hate the look of... This is why I haven't purchased anything yet lol. If I don't go with a camper, I may just pick...

Of course they don’t. They’ll deal with the squatting and porpoising that much weight typically causes. Don’t really care what the GVWR says. It’s not a commercial vehicle so it’ll never be weighed. I see so many campers in Tacoma’s and other mid size trucks that have dramatically less...

Technically on paper, a full hard side camper is a lot for a half ton. The ones i'm looking at are about 1900lbs wet. That's within the stock payload capacity, (1911 lbs) and yes I know, gear, fuel, people, coolers etc would put me about 600lbs over weight, but a nice set of airbag would take...

Hmm... This opens up the options a bit. I really like the idea of having a short box truck but also the camper when I need it.

Thanks. I've owned F150's since 2011, and absolutely think they are the best vehicle on the planet. Of course, everyone has their favourite brand, model, truck, etc and I do NOT want to start that discussion, they just work for my needs. Oh, and ( seriously hope I don't jinx this...) i've had...

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

Now, the disappointing part. The more I research travel trailers and the inherent issues that come with them (size, usually poor construction, parking etc) the more i'm leaning towards a slide in, pop up camper option. I've found a bunch of FWC options that will be absolutely perfect. When I...
